She looks stupid.

I'm glad this game isn't coming out this year. That would be ANOTHER $60 dollars gone since this is a day one buy.
Virmire alone was a huge level with many things to do. Just sayin.SecretPoliceHuge = two pathways leading to the same place? Many things to do = what the game forces you to do? Mass Effect is a VERY linear game and the side missions are the most boring things I've ever done. They designed two buildings and copy and pasted them throughout everything. Mass Effect is probably the worst good game I've ever played if that makes sense.
I get the feeling she will star in one of those adult situations like in the first Mass effect.SecretPoliceI'd rather sleep with Wrex. Of course, that's true in most situations.
I think Everyone is misunderstanding this character, she is meant to be ugly on purpose.(this below is all speculation btw)
Her name subject zero is easily a reference to element zero and Judging by the name and her species she is no doubt a reult of a similar program that kaiden went through as his backstory tells in ME1. However this similar program was no doubt a lot more extreme then kaidens and orchestrated by someone who essentially operates above the law, I think it may have been Cerberus as they are essentially the only organisation mentioned that could pull this off. Now Cerberus as we know are a criminal organisation that uses the ends to justify the means of which in mass effect is human superemecy over the other races.
The second part to this is element zero is relatively new to the human race, biotics are rare because most of the times element zero exposure results in terminal cancers. Now we judging from the video posted on this sight she looks a bit younger than shepard and as such must ahve been a relatively early element zero exposed victim ( also hence her name) . Since they were rare she would have been a high value target for cerberus research. So they essentially were training her as a soldier with biotic abilities from a young age i get this idea from the Ascenction novel where a got teh feeling the mainprotagonist wasnt' the first research victim. As such all she can do is be tough as nails as thats the way she was raised. Anyway so she gets older grows a brain and escapes but operates as a merc for hire.
Now if you put it all together you have,
Trained at least as a sodlier
One of the few humans with biotic abilities
Potenially wanted by Cerberus
No dobt toretured through her training
tough as nails
So we essentially have an intelligent woman with biotic abiliteis who wnats to strike fear into her enemies and the easiest way to do this is through her physical appearance.
She looks interesting cant wait to see the rest of the cast but I am dissapointed with the new Krogan Grunt, that is not even a name

Just look at them sexy piercing red eyesThat is awesome, yet another female protagonist that shows women can kick ass. Good thinking Bio :DtagyhagWhen it comes to female protagonists, there is The Boss, and then there is everything. What I really like about The Boss is that unlike most female protagonists who are basically just guys in a female body, The Boss still has female qualities like maternal instincts and all that jazz :D But, I digress....Can't wait for ME2 :D

Could Bioware have done a better job on Mass Effect ? You bet, it's called Mass effect 2 and I'm Pumped. :P
Figured I'd throw this in here for some
Buy the Mako from Mass Effect for your Xbox Live Avatar
Over on the Xbox Live Marketplace, a new prop has appeared in the Avatar Store. You are now able to purchase an RC replica of the Mako craft used to cart Commander Shepherd and crew around the surface of alien worlds in Mass Effectfor a measly 240 Microsoft SpaceBucks.
I think it's been pretty well-established that buying items for your Avatar is a moronic use of your money, but I'm sure these things will sell just fine. Perhaps not as well as the Warthog RC car prop, but there's no shortage of idiots in the world and there's no doubt that at least a few of them are Mass Effect fans.
If I should ever wind up in a situation where I'm forced to choose between buying the avatar item or driving the Mako in Mass Effect, I'm probably going to have to take the prop. Call me crazy, but the vehicle physics really drove me up the wall in the first game and I'm really hoping it's been improved for the sequel.
