Forget Halo 3. This, and Bioshock, are my games to play this fall.
Mass Effect will own my soul. Watch the greatness here.

you don't like multiplayer games where you get to play with real people?Huxley_04
I love them actually, I play gears online and R6:V online a lot, but the most memorable games, and best games that I have ever played have always moved me in the single player campaign. Kotor, Deus Ex, Halo, all captured me with their single player.

you don't like multiplayer games where you get to play with real people?Huxley_04I don't know about him but for me constantly playing a deathmatch is boring. Yawn! I'd rather have a very compelling story with meaning instead of just running around "pwning n00bs".Â

I disagree.. playing online together with real people working as a team fighting against another team feels you actually accomplish something..
Kind of like playing on a sports team..

Multiplayer can be the best thing in the world... when you get a good group of people.. otherwise it can suck, when i play gears online I either love it or just get pissed cause im playing with a bunch of 10 year old retards.

I take it that you haven't played online yet then and that you must be in some fantasy world.
Team play :lol:Everyone just does whatever the hell they want trying to be Rambo and Superman combined. Only when your playing with clan/friends its team based.
i think the bigger thing out of that video is the command controls during combat, they look really intuitive and easy to use.Big_player
I agree, that interface looks great.

You are right of course, when you are playing with friends, sadly I don't really play online enough to make many online friends that I can play with all the time, and not really an outgoing person over the internet for some reason, so I end up playing with hodgepodge teams or just playing free for all matches.
However, one Halo 2 match that stands out for me, is when playing with 2 buddies from high school and another guy, we were against a team made up of British players. The trash talk was great, the insults amazing, and in the end, we were victorious, and it was really a lot of fun. Best multiplayer game experience I had.

I take it you've never made any friends on XBL.. I'm actually in a clan and we compete against other clans.. My team is actually one of the best clans in Shadowrun too..

Right it sucks playing alone but if you have a group of friends playing together then no single player experience can touch that..
I can smell it too. I'd expect an announcement after Christmas, E3 latest.rykaziel
Sweet vid. This game is owning so hard. I really like how much combat resembles Gears, right down to the roadie run, hadn't seen that before.whoisryanmack
Wait - that looked awesome - but who were those guys? What the hell was their problem? They seemed to think their game was the second coming of Jesus.
"Yeah, you know, it looks much better than Oblivion. You can only play as humans, cos, ya know, we don't want our game being all lame and D&D like."
How about you show me what's good about the game, instead of telling me it's better than something else. Jeez, developers should learn a thing or two from Irrational - now they are a great company.

I don't know what vid you're watching, but the camera angle and movement, the character movement, the roadie run, the cover system...etc.. all look pretty much like Gears to me.

I said it LOOKS like Gears, I know it the gameplay elements are entirely different. The basic combat system and camera in gears were fantastic imo, and I like that ME is using a similar frame.

I gotta admit, metroid primes music is just amazing, especially the song on the main menu of the first game.

Noticed it, and drooled over it.

Yeah I noticed it, It also showed it on the E3 demo gamespot showed. I'll have to explore it all, stopping Saren and saving the galaxy can wait, it isn't THAT important.
