I would love it if they did. Poor Retro all they get to make are Metroid games. You have to wonder if they are getting sick of Metroid.

If it is a game, it doesn't necessarily have to be developed by Retro. It could be back in the hand of Intelligent Systems or another studio all together for all we know (this actually strikes me as more likely as it's only currently being teased on the Japanese site). This is of course assuming it's a new game (it could very well be a new promotional site for the series or a tie-in of a different medium).

i would rather play as the female pirate hunter. not the pirates that get ice beamed, wave beamed, light beamed, dark beamed, missiled, super missiled..... need i go on?

oh god, don't bother retro...not with the same inferior hardware, wait until the next console..hopefully Nintendo add better hardware...love to see a metroid game with Killzone 2 graphics....GSUS!

I don't think Retro are making it they said they wanted to make something not related to Metroid and I think Foxhound-Fox is right in what he thinks it is.
