Eh...this is turning out to be really disappointing. Everything looks exactly like OOT. Yes, the graphics look updated, but even then, some things look like they were just transfered to the 3DS. No upgrade at all. If there was, it was barely anything.
Also, anyone who intend to get this but didn't play the original MUST NOT WATCH THAT TRAILER!

Very true.
Major spoilers? Also, anyone who intend to get this but didn't play the original MUST NOT WATCH THAT TRAILER!

not trying to be a downer but this game is over a decade old and most of us have played it about 10 times by now.....and the graphical updates are lacking, this is almost like the "Half-life: Source" that Vavle released with HL2 and it looked just like the original except it had ragdoll physics and nice water...dissapointing
That's really unfortunate; the orchestrated music made the trailer so much better!Awesome orchestrated music for the trailer but not for the game. Goddamn U Nintendo!

OoT 3DS looks much better at times because of an improved framerate and the new character animations. However, I do agree with your point in regards to the environments. I understand that Nintendo wanted to preserve the original artstyle, but some of the areas look a little too much like the N64 original.Eh...this is turning out to be really disappointing. Nintendo sure has done a good job with the updated graphics. Link's landings [from jumping] look much better. This is a must buy!

Umm that was the point. Nintendo wanted to keep that original feel. OOT is a classic and one of the best games ever created. It's fine the way it looks, they made the game look better.

You don't want a COMPLETE remake. Then EVERYONE on System Wars would be furious about the game, saying "They should've stuck to the original's roots."
The game is NOT just the original with better graphics. They did quite a lot for this remake, with the new boss rush mode, harder master quest with mirrored world, tons of details to flesh out the world more.. Haters gonna hate I guess.
Watch some gameplay trailers, the game looks much better in those than in the trailers for some reason, MUCH better.

they could have at least got rid of all the jaggiesYou should know by now videos don't do games justice. Once you play it in person the game looks way better. The jaggies won't look as bad in the video.
They really, and I mean REALLY coulda updated the graphics more. I mean it looks a lot smoother but man those jaggies from the 64 days are still there. Why couldn't theya t least clean those up....
Im probably still getting it since its the only good 3ds game so far. But I will be totally honest, I am disappoint Nintendo... Its like New Super Mario Bros Wii all over again for me.:|

that is very true but in motion or not, the jaggies are still there. The character models are WAY improved though, granted, and we will all know for sure if nintendo is for real or not when we see the castle setting of the final dungeon. That looked awful in the n64 version-- even back thenWatching this trailer reminds me why I love this game so much. I would like to see a Majora's Mask remake for the 3DS next.

MM absolutely needs to happen. Nintendo has their engine up and running and MM happens to use a lot of the same character models so it shouldn't be too much work. I don't have a 3DS now but if these the two N64 Zelda games come out on it then they simply leave me no choice. :P

Indeed. I can just imagine fighting against "them" again in 3D!
...That mission scared me as a kid and still kind of does. :P
I'm referring to the mission at Romani Ranch for those who don't know.
Spoilerific for those who haven't played it yet though.....Lethalhazard
At least these Trailers haven't shown the TRUE Spoiler of the Game.
Haven't seen a Trailer that shows that Sheik is Zelda.
I think it's time for you to replay OoT on the N64. Time has clouded your mind for sure. That, or you need a new pair of glasses.Eh...this is turning out to be really disappointing. Why are we using spoiler tags for a game that is 13 years old? I mean, come on.Best game ever? it's not even the best ZeldaThe best game ever made looks even better, if that's possible.
