Looks like a great game... but I'll play it on my Wii for $10 instead of $40 on the 3DS.

The 3DS one has made quite a few changes to the mechanics to make the game relevant by 2011 standards. The original game, while a cIassic, hasn't exactly aged all that well, so I wouldn't recommend buying the Virtual Console edition unless you're REALLY pressed for money.

Eh...this is turning out to be really disappointing. Everything looks exactly like OOT. Yes, the graphics look updated, but even then, some things look like they were just transfered to the 3DS. No upgrade at all. If there was, it was barely anything.

Well everything looks a little better but some things look alot better. Now there is a sky instead of just shady trees and wall textures are now present. To completely redo the game would probably anger more people then be welcomed.

Awesome orchestrated music for the trailer but not for the game. Goddamn U Nintendo!

Exactly! This is my only problem with the game. I was really hoping for the music to be redone/updated, not just a straight port from the N64 in terms of sound and music. Also some of the character models havnt been improved as much as I would have hoped (eg Ganondorf, Twinrova). But other than that I'm seriously looking forward to getting my hands on Ocarina of Time 3D :D

not trying to be a downer but this game is over a decade old and most of us have played it about 10 times by now.....and the graphical updates are lacking, this is almost like the "Half-life: Source" that Vavle released with HL2 and it looked just like the original except it had ragdoll physics and nice water...dissapointing
