Besides the drones, who's really going to care about Uncharted 4, Infamous 3, and KillZone 4? The reveals for those will never be big as a 3D Mario reveal, or a Smash Bros 4 reveal, or even a Metroid HD reveal.

Well theres been 4 proper 3D Uncharted games since 2007 (UC1, UC2, UC3, Golden Abyss)

In that same time period, theres been 3 proper 3D mario games (SMG, SMG2, SM3DL).

This entire gen, there has been two proper Zelda games, one of which was a port of a Gamecube game, and there was a 5 year gap in between them :|

If we go a step further and count the numerous ports/remakes of the Nintendo games, we also have to count the numerous "HD collections".  At which point it starts to become messy :P

Even funnier, that was all in the span of the last 4 years.  :shock:

Also, Cow fun fact.....there are more Uncharted games than there are Gears games, despite the Uncharted franchise being a year younger.  And according to Cows, only one of these franchises is milked   :D

lmao not that lame excuse, Nintendo has made plenty of new IPs this gen. Stop the butthurt.

So people are mad at Nintendo for having a legacy with Mario, Donkey Kong, and Zelda while Sony has? Can't say Crash because he dead. 

It's like getting mad at Fox because they make Xmen. While the Nintendo guys are looking forward to 3D Mario and Smash which both have legacies you guys will be looking forward to Uncharted 4... KillZone 4... Infamous 3, which is sad.

Naughty Dog didnt have much of a choice.  They had to quit the Crash franchise because they didnt own the rights.  

Crash Bandicoot was the most commercially successful franchise NaughtyDog ever made.  Not Jak, nor Uncharted surpassed it.  You can bet your ass if they could have, they would have carried the franchise over to the PS2 (and PS3) and it would probably be as popular as Mario right now.  They were forced to make a new IP (Jak).  IMO ND fell off since Crash, but thats me.  (im actually playing the Jak collection).

And while Jak was nothing to scoff at critically, it wasnt exactly a huge seller on PS2 and it didnt have the brand identity that Crash had, so they couldnt even milk that.  Crash at least had that "mario" power.

It's funny because usually when a 3D Mario comes out it outscores every Playstation exclusive for that represented generation. Can't say those are miked because they come out 1-2 times per gen and are very different from each other.
