Expect crystal version next couple of years though. Pokemon games i played were Yellow, which is basically my first pokemon game and first game for gameboy, ruby and Pearl. Yellows probably my favourite though. Doubt I'll get it, but seems pretty good.

I don't think they're going to make a third version. They didn't for the first set of remakes.

No it doesn't. It looks much better an more clean. Some of the effects in that video were awesome. did you see the title screen? Looks better than the pokemon stadium models.

It looks very impressive. Pause at :15 and that building and trees around it looks really good, even judging from that low-res video on YouTube.

I'm not entirely sure, but this is what I think it does-
You transfer your pokemon to it and when you walk around with it(it'sa pedometer), the stored pkmn get exp. and you get some strange currency to use in-game called watts or something. I may have something wrong though...
Pokemon Diamond is my most played game this generation, clocking over 70 hours. I freaking loved it, and it's one of the best games I have ever played. I've been playing them since Red and Blue first released, and still am a huge fan to this day. I will be picking it up the first day, just like I have with all of them.
this game look sooo epic, Gold and Silver were my favorite pokemon games, favorite portable games, and second favorite RPG games (only getting beat by Shining Forcce on genesis) of all time.
I might actually buy this remake. The other remakes didn't really seem worth it but this one definitelly does. I just can't wait until a Ruby version remake. I put over 70 hours into that one.
Pokemon Gold/Silver is in my top five games of all-time. The trailerhas left me anticipating these remakeslike no other since Twilight Princess. If you have a DS, and you never played Gold/Silver, I implore you to buyat least one of thesegames. The variety, and the sheer amount of time it will take you to get to the "true" end of the gameare simply astounding. Not to mention that it introduced the best Pokemon/gameplay features of the series. Buy these games, people.

Well it looks like the 2 v 2 battles are going to be incorporated at least. I'm also sure we'll see some WiFi modes come into play. I would also guarantee the inclusion of pokemon from other generations and probably a slew of other small challenges that we'll just have to wait and see.
I know there are other great games on the ds, and its an awesome system and all, i just dont care, all i want is pokemon, the only thing i really even used my ds for was pokemon, same thing with all the other nintendo handhelds ive had

You're not alone. Most of my handheld games, going all the way to the original GB, consist primarily of pokemon games.
I put so many hours into silver it's not even funny... Same with blue. After Silver is when I started falling off the pokemon craze, but still owned ruby and diamond.
Yeah, I definitely need to get this. I'm really not into pokemon games anymore, and I've tried twice to get into the latest gen and failed, but the pokemon gold/silver generation was definitely the best, and both those games are easily some of my favourite games ever.
Forget that. I want mah Crystal. That was the best of both of them. Red Garados = ownage. I owned one and loved it to death (well before my GBA burned anyway).
