Or you could pay about $4 more and get a 500gb hard drive that will work like a champ in your PS3: Seagate Momentus 5400 500GB 5400RPM SATA 3Gb/s 8MB Cache 2.5 Inch Internal NB Hard Drive ST9500325AS-Bare Drive

If you don't go for this one, whatever you do, make sure it's 5400rpm. Any faster and your PS3 will get very hot. And please stay away from green drives as they're known to not work well with PS3s due to their power saving features.
