New PS4 SKU incoming? 1TB Storage?

1TB Playstation 4 has been registered for the FCC. E3 1 TB PS4 at E3? Will it be the same price of 399 while the drop the price of the 500 GB Sku?

I hope so. Are there any hard drives that fit the PS4 that are greater than 2TB? I've gone all digital with my Xbox one because I can connect an external. It's a shame Sony didn't include that in the system as an option.

They should reduce price too. I mean look at how much price went down and things add to the x1!!

I think a price cut would be the right decision for Sony over the Holidays, they need to compete with Halo 5 and keep the PS4 sales strong over the Holiday's

With the PS4, going physical takes as much storage as going digital. You probably get faster install times with physical, though.

I never said it was a good thing you illiterate context twister, I said what is the big deal releasing the game in a partially broken state (that of which didnt happen until it hit the public network) that takes 4 odd months to fix or delaying it for 4 months?

In the first scenario you have a mostly working game for 4 months while the other you have nothing for 4 months, what's the big deal? Also they didn't even know that was going to happen as it was fine during internal testing plus the fact that they had to keep the Halo 2 anniversary and release during the holiday season.

I started thinking about this tonight and can you really blame 343 or Microsoft for releasing The Master Chief Collection when they did? Was it really that big of a deal? Look at the release window they had, it was either release it during the peak holiday shopping season or delay it until after Christmas and suffer a dry season release.

When they first announced it they promised it would be released in 2014, people were expecting it in 2014 and as it was including Halo 2 anniversary as well, it wouldn't make much sense to release it in 2015 now would it...

What I am asking you guys is this, does it really matter that they didn't delay the game and released it in a partially broken state?

I mean would you really have rather of had nothing during the holidays and have to wait through a delay instead of a mostly functioning game that you can still play? I just don't understand the logic and backlash, the game to be in an optimally functionally state as it is now would have had to of been delayed the same amount of time it was partially broken.

What's the difference that makes it so horrible between having a partially broken game that you have and can use waiting to be fixed and having to wait for a delay so it can be fixed?

Regardless of what you may have read the collection was still in a extreme playable state. Why would anyone prefer nothing over something which was 95% where it should have been?

They will probably sell the 1TB for $400 and move the 500GB down to $349 to try and be comparable to the Xbone price point.

See the bold. You are implying that it was better for us as consumers to buy and play a broken game, than to wait until the game is released in a much better state. Therefore saying it was a good thing they released it. Spin it all you like, but that's what you said.

EDIT: Keep in mind that this is a collection of games that most halo fans have already played. If they wanted to play Halo 3 or 4 so bad, they'd play it on their 360 if they still had it. This is also admitting that the Xbox had nothing to play at all during the last holiday besides a collection, which of course, wasn't exactly accurate. So stick to your story and stop shooting yourself in the foot.

Why would they reduce the price if it is still selling well? They should wait until next year at the earliest.

In that case, I'm getting the new 500gb and a new western digital 2TB sata 2.5drive ... I know sony will give a low quality hardrive btw
