That would be so awsome...

I definately buy a wii to shoot mario and his lil kiddie friends

Isn't that what Super Smash Bros. Brawl is for?

No cool blood effects.:(

Why the heck would you want blood in a game? It will ruin it! And it won't get rated E!

Melee was rated T.

We are talking about a M rated Mario game. I would not want such a thing to be easily accessible to a younger audience.

Mario games already feature quite a few mature themes, they are just covered up by "kiddie" graphics and overtones. Bowser is always trying to kidnap Peach, he also is incredibly infatuated with her.

Exactly. Mario senselessly slaughters all the creatures in his path, crushing their skulls in the process. Bowser is clearly a stalker. And genetic defects are also a theme touched upon; Toads, anyone? They have mushrooms on their heads and apparently have bladder control issues as they wear diapers.

Mario hasn't been for kids since the 80's. Now it's for adults wanting to feel younger.

Then why make the game if nobody is gonna play it?

Melee was rated T.

Nintendo said it was supposed to be rated E. It got rated T because of other reasons.

That's what E +10 is for. Smash Bros Brawl is getting a targeted rating of E +10. I doubt it will get it though. I hope it doesn't get T.

A game rated E is like a virgin. That is a good thing.

After crushing the harmless swamp-dwelling reptilian skulls, the player bludgeons other similar reptiles into submission with the dead animals carcass. Oversized bullets, depicting the lawsuits and overly exhorbitant fines fly from the cannons of animal rights activists as the player escapes the scene of the sadistic crime. The game also encourages the spreading of urban legends, such as the "oversized reptile lives in my sewage pipe" myth.

I love how you can change a simple and family-friendly concept into a deranged story with symbollic overtones, with the usage and change of just a few words :D.

Well to tell you the truth Willy I don't really think anyone should be ashamed of playing a Mature game. I think if you ask anyone on the forums here whether or not they have played a M rated game they will admit to it.

True.

People here are gamers and don't care what content it has as long as it's good. (well, most of them. Some of them won't buy a game no matter how good if it has "kiddy" graphics, or in other words, it's in color)

Yeah that is just the way it is here. Anyway I like the way Conker's Bad Fur Day turned out and I think that something similar could be done with Mario or another character.
