I HIGHLY doubt this. Unless it introduces new story elements we've never seen, then there's no reason to make another entry in the Warcraft series. WoW will carry out the story until the end.

I have a little tiny hope that Blizzard wake up and forget everything about WoW story and continue WC4 where the epic WC3 ended.

they are working on SC2 expansions and D3, not to mention Wow of course

and they would never bring a RTS to consoles, because it would just flop, even halo wars sold poorly

It will not come to consoles that is just stupid. How much money did SC2 make again? Why would they risk that and make an RTS game for consoles aswell, it will make the PC version worse off therefor making the entire game worse off.

With the Starcraft expansions,a WoW expansion and Diablo 3 yet to be released...I doubt they are making Warcraft 4

I doubt we'll see WC4 on consoles unless it differs greatly from WC3. Either way, I'd love the see a WC4. I loved the hero system in WC3. I'm still waiting for a D3 console announcement, especially with Runic Games working hard to get Torchlight onto consoles.

It's not a rumor. The only rumors are what it's going to be (Like the one back in Janurary about it being an MMOFPS.) They've even had staff post on their own forums about leaving for the next MMO. Just because they don't need the revenue, doesn't mean they're going to rely on WoW for the rest of time. Blizzard wouldn't do that (Although the greedy !%!Qs at Activision might.)

Completely bogus. First of all..there's no way Blizz would release it for consoles, they said SC2 wouldn;t because of how it plays and it's not like WC4 would be any different. Second, DS? Lmao...3DS will be nearing it's end before WC IV launches. And third and biggest reason it's bogus. SC2 team is working on two more SC2 releases, they aren't "free" to do anything besides that.

Why would he be worried? Old Republic will be out this year, while the next Blizzard MMO is still propably 5 years away. Those won't really be competing directly with eachother.

Hell, Bioware isn't any more innovative either. Adding Voices and C&C don't make the game groundbreaking.
