• Luigi jumps higher.
• Luigi jumps further.
• Luigi slides further.
• The new character, Nabbit, doesn't take damage from hazards or enemies.
• You only have 100 seconds to complete each course.
• The courses are harder, featuring a lot more hazards and enemies on screen.
• Play over 80 redesigned courses.
• $19.99 (USD)

The downloadable content will only work if you own a copy of New Super Mario Bros. U. If you don't, you can pick up a separate copy at retailers for $29.99 (USD) on July 26, 2013.

I wasn't going to buy it, but I caved in and bought it earlier today. Played the first world and I thought it was much better than what I initially expected. The levels are harder for sure, but not overly long so time isn't as much as a factor as you'd think. I probably died more times in the first world in SLU than I did in the entirety of SMBU... exaggeration yeah, but still a hard game.

You essentially get an entire new games worth of content for 20 bucks.

80 new levels, more challenging from the looks of it.  Platforming mechanics are modified (typical goofy Luigi mechanics).  Other new options like playing as Nabbit.

No, this isnt just a Luigi skin for 20 bucks.  Nintendo is doing DLC right.

I will once the retail copy is out, that green case will look great in my collection.

Yet another "samey" nintendo game. The game might be "great" but the worst part about the whole situation is that I paid actual money for my wii U. Should have stole this piece of crap probably...

From nintendo, i just don't expect much. They could have at least went all out with a whole new adventure maybe...

Seems pretty expensive for how much you get. 80 levels at 100 seconds each, max, would only last about 2 hours. For 20 dollars, that isn't much.

I wantit super badly! But I'm going to wait for the retail release in a couple of weeks. I have zero interesting in digital games personally. But I bet it's going to rock!

If you're a crazy bad ass player that can not only beat all the levels in the first run, but also obtain all the star coins.  Sure.

Some of the latter levels in NSMBU took me over an hour to beat.  And these levels are supposed to be much harder.

Its like a lot of platformers really.  Super Meat Boy is an insanely short game if you're a robot.  But I doubt you'll find anyone that completed the game in a sitting or two.

Is everyone seriously complaining about a DLC for a game being too similar to the game?

I may get the physical copy when it comes out for the collector inside of me :P I liked NSMBU alot so I welcome the new challenge with Luigi

Not such a bad comparison at all, Many of the levels in Super Meat Boy are tiny.  Some only a screen or two.  Usually when you get through them, you find that many of them take a few seconds when done correctly.

The point is nobody is going to sit there and beat this DLC content in 2 hrs unless they're just straight up pro.

I will once the retail copy is out, that green case will look great in my collection.

New super mario bros, new super mario bros wii, new super mario bros 2, new super mario bros wiiu, new super mario/luigi bros.

They are all the same game with the same art style with the same gameplay and the same everything. Well this isnt the same, mario has been re-skinned with luigis clothes.
