Looks pretty sweet. I don't know why people are comparing it to Resident Evil. I don't see anything RE about it.
I'm really over the whole "Hallucinations! Am I just seeing things?!" Its been done. Also, some of the shadow glitches at 50 seconds in here painfully obvious.
It's bethesta. It's normal.. you can't expect them to make a game that's not broken.
It isn't made by Bethesda.
Why is everyone so scared to say it looks meh?...
The trailer has almost no tension and the art style along with graphics quality look bad. Nothing impressive about this trailer so far... Someone's resume may give their game potential but it shouldn't act like a blind fold.

Ok.
How is this an action game? You can have a horror game without it being boring and slow with a jump scare every 5 minutes.
Sadly my friend, it's an action. With sub par visuals barely above Resident Evil 4 Ultimate Edition and laughably cheesy voice acting on par with Resident Evil 5,
It's an action focused game, about action. Involving action and ending up with action.
As a fan of Resident Evil 4.5, 6 and Rev, this is a good thing. However, the blabla people saying "oh oh oh, look oh, real horror ohhhhhs" need to give it a rest, forever.
Well the horror atmosphere seems much better then RE4. So thats why im interested.
Footage is mostly underwhelming, but it's Mikami.
On his worst days he still makes good games(sans PN 03). I made peace with the fact he'll never be up to snuff with the excellence that is Resident Evil 4 ever again, but if he's half as good it should still be one of the better games this year.
It definetly wants to return to the gothic-tinged roots of the original Resident Evil and you can see a homage to RE1 at 0:48 mark.
Nice smoke effects - should look good in next gen versions, however wall textures look absolutely horrible and low-res.
Moreover, the sunflower scene is not convincing since all the sunflowers are identical.
The game doesn't look AAA in any way.
It looks and shapes up to be a bit better than Silent Hill: Downpour and Resident Evil: Revelations, so a 7.5/10 game at best.
graphics and framerate aren't top notch (for those that care) but the art design is decent nonetheless, and the game looks friggin sweet, would be nice to see what the gameplay is gonna be like though

all I know is I'm glad it's not another amnesia clone with barebones hide and go seek gameplay. Hopefully this rekindles the survival horror we once knew: horrific monster designs, less ammo, less guns, more melee maybe even bring back inventory system management so you never get too dudebro.

We're nitpicking sunflowers..... In a video game.... Really man? Also it seems (this may be the last gen version we're seeing). Games got 4 months to still come out. If mikami made Vanquish run like butter this certainly will too.
