Yea, just like Halo 3 and GEOW huh? Repetitive and boring!! Any game can get repetitive sometime or another. As for me, ill be pickin up "this" repetitive game.

What's with the lack of water effects when blowing up the barrels? Wheres the waves, or at least some ripples? Why is there no debris from the barrels, the metal just vaporizes? Why don't the enemies bodies create ripples in the water when they fall in, instead of the lame little splash they make?

Why does the jet ski handle unlike any jet ski I have ever seen in real life?

From the videos, the aiming system looks like one of the biggest downfalls of the game.

I was hoping it would be different from the videos awhile back, but it just still looks like overhyped garbage.

Gears of War & Heavenly Sword disagree with you. I'm all over Uncharted, but I think both of the games I mentioned look better graphically.

That was... underwhelming. Nice backdrops and animation, but some really mediocre effects and the gameplay looks quite boring.

I'm not one of those people who think that Halo is the be all and end all of video games, but I much prefered their method of you driving, the A.I. shooting. I loved riding around in the 4 wheeler with an ally carrying a rocket launcher taking down the scarab. This drive around, stop, aim, shoot, start driving again aspect is a bad choice IMO. I'm sure the rest of the game will be better though.

The reason that we have stopped talking about Crysis is because whenever we bring it up console fanboys bring up the beta as if that is some kind of ownage or something. The demo is coming out very soon so that will bring Crysis back to the lime light where it belongs. Crysis will leave the console/Halo fanboys speechless...that is a promise.

I just wrote an entire post that stupid GS wouldn't submit. It just took me to the login screen for god knows what reason and I didn't copy it so forget it.

Just gonna summarize and say the gameplay looked VERY tedious and very boring IMO.

It looks like the part of a game you'd die to skip which most games have one of those in there. So far I haven't seen any gameplay that warrants a reaction to wanna get this game in the future. Looks average honestly and I don't know if anyone else agrees but the Hero just looks terrible IMO. Being compared to the host of survivor which is an actual close comparison at times is NOT a good thing.

I don't have high expectations for this one so I'm sure the score won't flop for me cause I don't expect much from what I have seen

I am not sure, I guess maybe he's talking about how the beta was fairly unoptimized. Some people had a terrible time running it, others ran it fine. There were some odd bugs too, (sounds from guns firing going on a continous loop, had to restart the game, etc)

I played it about 10~ hours and had a ton of fun despite the bugs. My rig isnt the best but I ran it ok (25-35 FPS on medium/high). He's probably just trolling mostly.

Edit: the devs said it was a pretty old build though, and was mainly put out to stress test netcode and locate multiplayer bugs.

Well if you are going to be that pesimistic at this point I am certain you will be blown away by both the SP and MP when they release it. I promise you it will rock your socks off.

I sure hope the SP does "rock my socks"... its been a while since a game has made me :o and Im not just talking about eye candy, as for the MP I highly doubt it.

2. Many of the people who couldnt run it at all were using SLI. Many other people ran it on max allowable settings. In fact I know one person RL who was able to run it at 50fps/1680x1050 with a 4400+, 3gb ram, HD 2900XT, .

3. I havent had this much fun since BF2 was released and people hadn't learned to nadespam and dolphin dive yet. And this is with only one map availible, large parts of the physics engine not included and lots of bugs.

Way to attack the argument by going after the smallest and most irrelevant part. I admit, the Lair thing I said was stupid. Why not attack the rest of my argument that has nothing to do with that game? The part telling how the water and jetski physics fail, and how people are unneededly hyping every unimpressive video of Uncharted.

the graphics are outstanding... though the splashes in the water were dumb...

But I have to agree with the majority... the gameplay looked loose.
