I'm torn between what main platform to game on.

I've had a 360 for 1 1/2 years (and have enjoyed it), but recently have gotten more into PC gaming.

I could just go and order a $200 videocard (to play the latest games), or I could spend such money on more 360 games that I want. (gta4 anyone?)

Is it really worth getting into PC gaming when you already own a 360?

It really comes down to what games you want to play. If you don't feel you're missing out on the PC side of things, then carry on with the 360.

if you upgrade your pc, your xbox will be useless since everything on it come on the pc at some point. So sell your xbox on ebay and use the$ to get a nice graphic card. I saw a 8800gt at 150$cdn on ncix!

I say go with the video card. an 8800GT would get the job done, and PC games are unmatched, in my opinion.

I guess i am kind of thinking by upgrading my PC it would make my 360 kind of useless (other than to buy a lot of newer games earlier.)

I am enjoying playing a lot of older PC games at the moment that don't require such a good card, but the thing that gets me interested in PC a bit more is firstly better online, and secondly I am getting fond of using a mouse.

I don't want to get rid of my 360 though. I still enjoy using it.

Why bother look at Gears 2 vs Gears PC... Gears 2 all day long, sure you get it on PC a year later... and then you have the next gen xbox coming sometime soon.. that will easily run crysis maxed and cost you $450 at most and be completely plug and play multimedia experience.. so I guess if you just cant wait and just have to blow a bunch of money now to have the best, go upgrade your PC.

Wait until the card with the gt200 comes out. Either you get the newest revolutionary card or you get an older card much cheaper.

Is it really that hard to save up $200? Just don't see why you have to go with one or the other.

I am biased but after you game on pc the 360 looks like rubbish and the pc gets all the 360 games but better anyway. The question is how is the rest of your pc ??

I know there are alot of pc haters here but when you are playing on your new hardware/software on steam you will say what 360 ??

Just make sure to keep your receipt for the video card. I've been using my 7600GT for a year and a half now, and all of a sudden, two capacitors explode and the card dies. I can't refund at the place of purchase and without a receipt or invoice, I hope a kind worker at EVGA will still accept my RMA.

So for me I'm sticking with my PS3 now; I was such a PC fanboy though, 1780 hours on my xfire, and I'll really miss TF2 and the new weapons coming out for the classes (just got the new medigun last week)

The answer to your decision though, would be to buy I new GFX card in my opinion since the upcoming games appeal greater to me than the 360s.

On the PC side you will have Starcraft II and Spore and Gears of War 2 eventually

On both sides u can get Fallout 3, Far Cry 2,

On the 360 you can get Gears 2 quicklier, and Banjo Threeie.

Actually, you can't lose either way.
