New Xbox 360 Controller Costs $65

Microsoft knows the 360 owners very well. $$$. What do you guys think. Is it a little too expensive for a controller and a rechargeable battery kit?

The PS3 controller can be found for $30 and it comes rechargeable and d-pad functional out of the box.

It got banned before it even got released. The only bad thing I can see about it is the sharp edges and corners of the D-pad. Seems like it would hurt the thumb after a while.

you could find the old xbox controller for 20 bucks... but uh 65 isnt bad as 50 for a new controller is standard and 10 bucks for play and charge. I bought a halo reach controller which was 60 bucks and a GOW 3 controller for ps3 for 60 bucks meh not bad for an improvement

Yeah I like what you did there...$65 for the new Xbox controller and $30 for a DS3...where can you buy a new Sony DS3 for $30? Try $54.99...aka $55. So yeah the new 360 controller is $10 more, but it does include the play and charge kit.

I think they need to release a regular version of the same controller without the P&C kit. I'm guessing if they did it would cost the usual $49.99. I still wouldn't buy it because I don't like the stupid grey buttons.

$65 with the play and charge kit. This combo has always been the same price. This is not a price hike
