You need to get things in context, someone not liking something does not equate to them saying they will not release said something and Phil still has to do as he is told.

I am sorry Delta but i think everything Phil say there is pure uncut damage controls,maybe because MS was catch pants down by sony with this move,in fact i am sure that MS move to PC has to do more with this new PS4 than anything else,so you can't play Forza on ultra settings ok play it on windows 10 on Ultra.

It make sense and i think MS may have find out either by a developer or a leak from inside that sony would release a new console with stronger GPU,so the best they could do was move their games to PC were you already can have stronger hardware while the game would still be closely control by MS it self using windows store.

I think MS will have a though time convincing the board about an upgrade xbox one,specially with the not so hot sales.

I also don't eat the whole substantial upgrade after they release the xbox one with amount to be a weak GPU on PC compare to were the 360 was tech wise on 2005.

Not true. People buy consoles for what used to be ease of use. Didn't need to have a computer and could easily play from your living room TV. It has nothing to do with exclusives which is why 90% of the games are multiplat. People choose consoles based on a lot of factors and exclusives are just a part of it. Both consoles have games that aren't on the other but the most popular and most played games usually tend to be multiplats. This has been true for a few gens now.

@2Chalupas: The slim Xbox One can last MS until they reveal a new, true next gen Xbox at E3 2017, with a Fall 2017 release. The new Xbox will most likely be much more powerful than Neo/NX, Backwards Compatability w/Xbone and will be initially sold at a loss to give it an affordable entry price of $399-$449. Xbox will then then have the best versions of COD/Madden/FIFA for a while to drive sales, along with superior looking exclusives. MS can continue to support the Bone for a few years.

Xbox 360's GPU size = 180 mm^2. Not including 10 MB EDRAM

Xbox One's GPU size = 160 mm^2. Not including 32 MB ESRAM. From 365 mm^2 SoC budget, 229mm^2 is available for GPU and 32MB ESRAM.

Polaris 10's chip size is around 232 mm^2.

PS4's GPU chip size is around 212mm^2

Vega has slightly better perf/watt over Polaris.

Both MS and Sony has about 200 mm^2 chip area budgets for GPUs.

I don't own both, i only have an xbone but i game on my friends Ps4 and both console have Exclusives that are worth playing in my opinion.

I prefer Driveclub to Forza horizon 2 because Arcade racers are more my thing and Driveclub is just more fun in my opinion.
