[QUOTE="TheCrazed420"]Man, everyone is so spoiled nowadays. If the gameplay is solid , those graphics are GREAT.
I think anyone who complains about these graphics should be sentenced to 6 months on an Atari 2600 or Colecovision. Then come complain about these "horrible" ground textures.

You're right, I can't complain about these graphics because they manage to be superior to those of the Atari 2600 and Colecovision. What kind of logic is that? You can say that exact same thing about Vampire Rain or any other piece of garbage from this generation. Of course there are significantly higher standards today.
That was a beautiful piece of pre-release damage control though, telling us that if we think Too Human looks terrible, we should go play Atari and compare. Can't even properly defend the game without insulting it.
I think anyone who praises these graphics should be sentenced to 6 months, too, but somewhere else. The only thing that looks remotely decent, which I pointed out earlier (along with the horrible ground textures you find so attractive), are the character models.
Nice rant. I'm tired of you graphic whores. The gameplay features in this game haven't changed. It's the gameplay that I'm intrigued about, not the resolutions of the freaking textures.
My point is back then, us gamers loved playing those Atari games. We didn't complain about bloody graphics, we just wanted to have fun.
Something I think a lot of us here don't seem to understand anymore.
 Factor4.9.I'm beginning to think that Nintendo is in on this. This and Lair. Apparently some of the development staff at Factor4.9 and Silicon Knights aren't happy with leaving Nintendo and how they actually demanded quality products from them. This game has easily gone from AAA to -AA now....looks aweful

the game looks horrible, and the trailer on marketplace lacks creativity in all it sensesOldParr
I agree 100%. After watching that trailer I lost all faith in the game. It just looks more horrible every time I see it.

You're going to have to explain why me thinking Too Human looks like crap at all makes me a graphics whore. What, is it better to just go around blindly praising everything in an attempt at neutrality?
Of course you didn't complain about graphics with Atari. You had no point of comparison. I had an NES, nobody complained about its graphics. Same with SNES. But as technology grows and graphics improve, they become more noticeable and a bigger part of the game, and games come out that set minimum benchmarks in the area. And if these benchmarks don't even come close to being met, it's noticeable, and I don't think pointing it out makes one a graphics whore.
There are certain levels of expectations this generation in the technological department, and Too Human is failing to meet those expectations. It's not a Wii game.

Whose expectations? Certainly not mine.
The game still offers 4 player co-op, still offers Diablo-style loot, still offersan epic storyline based around Norse Mythology.
I guess what offends me is the extremism of the comments. This may not look cutting-edge, but it certainly doesn't look like "crap". I enjoy a game with great graphics, don't get me wrong, but I certainly won't judge a game based on a few screens. This whole point isn't really directed at you, its at the majority of SW posters here. I think I might need a break from this board. :P
Depends on the gameplay i suppose. I cant say i'm particularly hyped for Too Human. Too many other games out between now and it's release worth playing.Ninja-Vox
someone at SK better be working hella hard on a superior gameplay experience, because if this game is going to need its visual prowess to make up for defencies, this game is in real trouble.
Do you guys honestly think Silicon Knights is going to release Too Human if it looks like that? PBSnipesthey will have to eventually. MS already paid for it and 2 sequels. they won't get more $ from Microsoft, so they need to start pumping this stuff out.
My interest in this game crashed and burned after that E3 trailer. cakeorrdeath
that trailer was SO bad... and to think some people thought the trailer was great......

Pray for SK. I'd assume this is the kind of thing that can break their company. $100 million is more money than 90% of dev houses can comprehend...and MS will want return on their investment.

Hmm.. it sounds like SK is (was) well liked. Apologies for the ignorance, but what other games are they behind?

But isn't that $100 million split between the 3 or more publishers? I'm not a legal expert but I know in the music industry (which logically should be pretty similar) its the labels that front the bills, not the bands. There is no way anyone in their right mind would drop $100 million on a single game before marketing, especially MS.[QUOTE="Krazy_duck"]Hmm.. it sounds like SK is (was) well liked. Blood Omen, Eternal Darkness and the GameCube remake of Metal Gear Solid.
OOOOOHhhhh. Eternal darkness. That was delicious. Well then i hope they pull through this.
