once they change the games, do you lose access to the old ones? just curious.BrunoBRSThey disappear from the store, but if you have them downloaded you still get to play them.
This time Virtual Fighter 5, Hard Corps: Uprising, and Zombie Apocalypse got replaced.

Yet you pay 60 quid a year to rent MP access?
$12 a year.they dont...You get some cracking deals with PS +.
I must ask again though, how do they make any money off of it?

Same principle you muppet.
They get a very cheap and very generous rental service while you get diddly squat.

You pay for a Netflix subscription to rent and stream movies, and when you subscription runs out you no longer have access to them.>Paying for free games.
Slashless
It's the same thing with PS+, except no one complains about Netflix.
[QUOTE="JohnnyCageMK"][QUOTE="balfe1990"]$12 a year. Tell me please where you got this deal for 12$ a year for live. They offer $2 for 2 months when you're a silver member. Just let it expire and renew it again. Definitely worth it for party chat, dedicated servers, XBLA, etc.Yet you pay 60 quid a year to rent MP access?

I'm not supporting that one fakeboy w/e his name is, but I haven't paid more than a dollar for XBL in years. When your acount reverts to Silver (or whatever they call it now) you'll see deals on the dashboard for XBL. That's when I buy it. Rather pay 1$ for a month than 5.
But paying is still stupid.

that's actually a pretty sweet deal then for long term people that want a lot of games and don't plan to stop paying for PSN+. me? i prefer waiting for steam sales and only picking games i want, but knowing i'll have them forever :P[QUOTE="MonsieurX"][QUOTE="JohnnyCageMK"] $12 a year.JohnnyCageMKTell me please where you got this deal for 12$ a year for live. Dedicated servers WHERE?
You don't need Gold to access XBLA. Party chat is great but it should be free.
No way you can justify paying any sum for Gold, especially when stood next to PS+. The return on investment is crap.
I pay for it on the cheap, but I don't act like I get amazing value out of it.
once they change the games, do you lose access to the old ones? just curious.BrunoBRSno as long as you have downloaded them or added them to your download list you never lose access to them as long as your a ps plus subscriber, I recently *yesterday* resubbed for 3 months and all my games from when ps plus first came out are there in my download history.

*sighs* Microsoft themselves haven't had a deal for a year of xbox live like that if ever, the majority of the time deals like that are specifically through retailers and not microsoft.
I've been on xbox live since day one, I'm an Xbox ambassador...I still have to pay 60 dollars a year unless I get a prepaid card through amazon.com or another site that offers a deal...microsoft doesn't offer them often.

Not true at all. M$ was sending me offers all of the time to re-up for $39.99 a year and I took that deal back in March. Most of my friends are on that plan as well.
I've been on Live since Halo 2 also so I'm surprised they didn't send you this offer.

xbox live was around before halo 2. I've been on it since Unreal championship... one of the first games to use xbox live. lol sending you offers all the time :roll:As I said unless you get amazon deals...etc Microsoft doesn't offer them often if they do offer them they offer them to people that are about to run out of xbox live, thats not treating your loyal customers well thats trying to keep your customers.

My goal is not to get into a pissing contest with you about how long I've been on Live. I only brought that up to show I've been using the service for a while, that's great if you were on it beforehand. The fact of the matter is that M$ does offer a $39.99 a year option, and it doesn't matter whether or not you feel that is a good thing because they only offer it to people whose Gold is about to expire.[QUOTE="Magescrew"][QUOTE="BrunoBRS"] lol lems pay $60 a year just to be allowed to play online?BrunoBRSMore like 39.99 a year. it gets funnier :lol:Are there any people besides trolls and fanboys that see the fact that these games are subscription based as a bad thing? You're getting to play 45 games over a year for $50 USD. How could thazt be a bad thing? The games for this month are pretty good, and I expect a similar or an even better selection in the months following.
you know whats better not paying 50 bucks for 3 games that are in total worth less than 35??
ACTUALLY paying 35 bucks for them
seriously your overpaying. your paying 35 bucks for basically nothing. to pay sony money. thatd be why. you can get 2/3 on pc for less than 20 and i imagine you could get pac-man in a box at a store for 9 bucks so
