But they do offer them on the dashboard if you are silver, you probably never see them because you are Gold. Why give you a deal when you are already paying for Gold. They've ran deals for as low as $29.99 a year, and a lot of times they throw in a free game or games, and/or MS points. Hell last summer they were doing Gold for 39.99 and they were giving away like 3 XBLA games with it. Make a separate silver account and check out the deals they run sometimes.

Also the Microsoft store on microsoft.com had a 12 month gold deal for $35 for like 3 months not that long ago. Keep an eye on cheap ass gamer. They announce stuff when it happens.

You said "Microsoft themselves haven't had a deal for a year of xbox live like that if ever" I was just pointing out that yes they have had deals, right on the dashboard, and quite often. Not to mention on the MICROSOFT store, owned of course by MICROSOFT.

I was also pointing out that maybe you are not seeing the deals because you are Gold. I see the deals because some members of my family are still free members, and the deals pop up on their dashes when they sign in.

Of course you could just act oblivious, and pretend like everyone else is wrong and you are right. Just because you haven't seen something. It's your privilege.

As soon as my subscription ends it gets like 20 free games....
