Definitely not. I don't even have adequate internet to make the transition, but I still doubt that I would. With a digital collection, you're always limited by hard drive space. Physical games? Just ceiling space :P.

I might. Seeing as backward compatibility is becoming less common I'm not buying any more hard copies that become useless at the end of a gen. What's the point of having a collection if you have to keep 10 consoles hooked up to play whatever you want? If the Big 3 can match Steam with their digital distribution methods I'll be all over it.
No. My internet is slow (DON'T buy satellite internet) and seeing as though I just got a set up to fit my games and consoles in I's like to build my collection.boredy-McboredYeah satellite sucks. Wireless internet from a mom and pop company is the way to go for people who cant get cable or dsl.

[QUOTE="sethman410"]I'm scared about losing my games because of hardware failure. I hate making backups and it's just a waste of time. I still want physical copies so I can collect and not worry about losing them.bri360
Its logical to have physical copies. Not much use in downloading your gamesand losing them all if something happens to the hardware. If you have physical copies, you can get your games back on your hardwareinstead of re-buying AND downloading them all over again.
Well if you buyyour games on steam which most everyone does, you can just redownload it and if you ever loose your copy from hardware failure, its linked to your account; you can download it as many times as you want.
But don't you have to re-purchase the game(s) that you lost? (I don't use steam; nor do I have XBOX Live or PSN)If the PS4/Xbox3 have very large/upgradeable storage, probably. I love Steam and I find buying PSP games off of PSN very convenient(although I do still like some discs). They should make next gen like Steam-powered games; buy a physical product in stores and you can add it to your account and then download it whenever you want.
I have basically already moved to complete digital. I mostly play PC games and get 90% of them on Steam. Even those that I get in retail I eventually buy on Steam when it goes on sale just because it is so nice to have a game on Steam. My Wii and PS3 games are the only ones that I have to still get in stores.
As SSDs become larger and cheaper, digital purchases with just be even better. Faster loading times and lower power usage.
