I know, that is why I didn't say Persona... I just don't think it will go to DS because they already have another game coming out for it.

I'd recommend Digital Devil Saga. The first one can still be bought new, but I don't know if there's plans to reprint the second copy.

Still, I wouldn't mind if the next game was on the PS2. :D it isn't like the ps2 have terrible graphics anyway.

Either Wii or PS3. Itll sell like crazy in japan if it were on either. They get the most sales from Japan so i really doubt its 360. Id say everyone in Japan thats interested in gaming owns a Wii and I dont think atlus has ever made some super high tech game, so my guess is the Wii.

I'd personally like to see it on the PS3, but whatever system it comes out on is fine with me. I have all of them, so it doesn't really matter. I will say though that it would be a little weird to see it on the 360, but I'd still buy it in a second.

I dont see why it doesnt have to be on the PS2. 120 million+ consoles out there, experience with the hardware and alot of ready assets. The only improvement i see in this coming to the 360/PS3 is improved graphics. and with that we will probably get longer loads times, worse framerate and a much much shorter game.

I want Persona 6 to go on the current consoles but the 5th can stay on the PS2 (i also want the PS2 to have another AAA in 09 or 10 :P)

It won't be. I don't think Atlus is a big enough company to release a game like Persona as a multiplat.

PS3/360 multiplat or Wii exclusive. Depends on how wii exclusives sell in the next 6 months. 360 exclusive wouldn't shock me either.

Wii - Least likely candidate, taking too Wii would prove little in the way for benefits, it would sell less too PSP - Again, little reason, longer loading times and worse graphics, and on top, whos to say how itll sell DS - Strong candidate, but the graphics style will need to be completely reworked, could sell loads in Japan, but outside? PS3/360 - Both are now selling JRPGs reasonable in Japan, and outside, this is where the hardcore gamers are, offcourse, are they hardcore enough for this series? With that said, the series could have some new life moving onto the HD consolesFirstDiscovery

You list PSP as "worse graphics," but then you list DS as a possible candidate? What?

PSP games sell very well in Japan which is where the developers are going to focus on first and foremost.

Anyways, I'm willing to bet it'll either be PSP (makes sense) or PS3.

Meh, honestly, I tend to agree with him. Why PSP? They might as well go PS2 then and get the huge install base. PSP can't do anything worth while for the series. Also, DS is way to saturated with RPGs to get a main line persona.

Eh, I'm not into Persona anymore. I don't like how Atlus has had to adopt the megaten title for these games and incorporate their gameplay elements just to compete. I mean Persona wasn't originally a megaten game.Vandalvideo
