NeXT Xbox NAME ?

What will the name of the next Xbox?

For the PS3, they could'nt call it Xbox 2 because casuals would had been like : "Xbox 2 vs PS 3 ?, I don't want a last generation console." So they called it Xbox 360, 360 sounds better than 2 or 3.

Now.... vs PS4, what will they call it ?

instead of xbox pandora, naming it just Pandora or Pandora box would be full of win in my opinion

Xbox Titan is my favourite from that list. It rolls off the tongue and really conveys a sense of POWER (as in processing and graphical).

I think they will ditch the numbering and go with more of a subtitle type name. Like the Xbox Unleashed example you gave...or something to that effect. This is all about branding and they will definitely keep the Xbox name...but continuing with bigger numbers just gets stupid. So I say Xbox Jaguar or Xbox Extreme or something. Next Nintendo will have an all new name.

The only one I'm not totally sure with is the next PS console. I could see them also ditching the numbers with the 4th console but still keeping the PS logo and title.

There was a console called the Jaguare before, around the same time as 3DO and NeoGeo. For similar reasons, when I was compiling Greek themed names for the future Xbox, I just couldn't name it Xbox Odyssey :P
