I say it now and you can qoute me on this,no matter how much better it is than more than NG2 it won't sell as much.

Same thing was said about Ninja Gaiden Sigma , and obviously it sold enough. But the most important thing is that cows can now play it and as a nice bonus - the lemmings get pwned once again and are damage controlling like there's no tomorrow. That is a good thing.
[QUOTE="Couth_"]That's a given. Don't all NG games flop in sales?calvinx6
NG2 sold over 1 million copies.
So the best one: Black, sold the worst, and the worst one: NGII sold the best. Who cares? Considering NG is supposed to be the pinnacle of action games, it doesn't sell very well, period. But like I said, who cares[QUOTE="DeadMagazines"]Cows never buy the supposed superior versions of their year old ports. Just look at bioshock and lost planet sales figures for ps3  funsohngnot sure about bioshock, but lost planet was just horrible... 2.2mil for 360 and 430k for ps3

[QUOTE="Melkari"]
Probably. However, that has no impact on whether it's the better game or not.
simslifer
to lemmings everything revolves around sales lol
if you look at their game library I dont blame them.
Dude, you just went there, LOL, though it has some games.Cows never buy the supposed superior versions of their year old ports. Just look at bioshock and lost planet sales figures for ps3  DeadMagazinesThis should be kinda different then Because its a remake, not a port of Ninja Gaiden 2.

Yeah because they released it during the fall and it had to compete with SOCOM, LBP, and Resistance 2. The game had no chance, they should have released it during the summer. Also, who wants to pay full price for games that are over a year old..
[QUOTE="simslifer"]LBP shocked me the most, I wasn't expecting over 2 million at all.people don't forget that's what you were saying about Little Big Planet and Killzone 2 and those games turned out to sell good.
mitu123
I was. I honestly thought 2 million would be the minimal for LBP.

me neither I was mostly glad that a good game sold wellI was getting tired of the garbage games that would sell just on name brand and popularity even though they were below A.

I was. I honestly thought 2 million would be the minimal for LBP.
what reason ? because it's a new ip that no one knows or because it was a platformer not fps which usually sell good or was it the fact that it wasn't advertised good.
yea with those reason it shoulve sold 8 million lol
truthfully LBP had everything going against it and it beat the odds.

Nah, because it has tons of appeal and a massive advertising budget (don't fool youselves people, this game had marketing behind it). It was 2D and in an easily accessible genre and it was mulitplayer and pick up and play style gameplay. I knew the game would hit 2 million and I was right. The only thing LBP had going against it was an expensive PS3, nothing else.

Yes remember how it was back in late 07/early 08:roll::lol: You are the master at sarcasm. But I'm being serious! How can the cows POSSIBLY enjoy NG: Sigma 2 if it doesn't sell 12 million copies on the first day???[QUOTE="Floppy_Jim"]Yep, sales will own the cows and their vastly superior version of NG 2! that game was definitely not advertised liek it should and seriously 2d platformers don't sell good where do you get it does in this gen ?
expensive PS3
new ip
not a fps
no advertisement
it looked too kiddy for hardcore gamers
I personally believe the reason it did so well is because of word of mouth from ratings, magazines and people who played the game.

It still did very well, but damn its being sold at rock-bottom prices these days. You are the master at sarcasm. But I'm being serious! How can the cows POSSIBLY enjoy NG: Sigma 2 if it doesn't sell 12 million copies on the first day???[QUOTE="mitu123"]
