Ninja Gaiden 2 confirmed for 360, will be shown at TGS this year!!!!!!

"It has been confirmed by Gamspot Korea that, Ninja Gaiden 2, the sequel to one of the most acclaimed titles on the original Xbox, will be publicly shown to the world for the first time at this years Tokyo Game Show.

This was confirmed by an insider in the Japanese gaming industry. According to the insider, the PS3 version of the game has not been confirmed at the moment, but the game will in fact be shown for the Xbox 360 system. He further states that, the game will be shown on the Xbox platform at TGS, because of the relationship with Microsoft and the developers."

"However, there is a possibility that, the game will first be released for the Xbox 360 with a PS3 version following shortly. The industry insider also states that, this game is important to Microsoft because, it has potential to increase console sales in Japan" :shock: Does this make the DMC4 going multiplat issue, even now?

it will follow shortly on the ps3..the only reason why sigma was released.

Maybe if I change the thread title to NG2 confirmed for 360, not ps3 TCHBO people will actually come in and read it. :P

Thats sweet as hell. I still have to finish Number one though. I think I might buy sigma when I get my PS3, I have had the Xbox version for 3 years and still havn't beaten it. :lol:jechtshot78

That is what I keep hearing. But the reason I stopped playing NG is because the save files keep currupting once I get to the 6th level when I play on 360.

My save keeps currupting when I save after the tenicle boss. Besides that NG is not a traditional Action game, it reminds me more of a string combo fighter.

oh and about Ninja Gaiden 2 going to Ps3 thing, thats kinda unsure IMHO. NGS didn't sell that well, they shipped 450K and that hasn't all been sold yet. Plus, the Ps3's fanbase is kina small. Itagaki is a 360 fanboy, so IF it comes to Ps3, expect to wait atleast 6-12 monthsSpaceDragonMan

True NG's story is crap but the gameplay makes up for it, it's simply masterful.

im going ot wait for tecmo to annouce it. but if the insider is true, then lemmings have been owned. since they are the one who feel NG2 will never go multi plat. mazdaspeed-rx8

I've got a two tier skepticism going.

1. Confirmed by GS Korea, not the developer.

2. Will it actually be Ninja Gaiden 2, or Ninja Gaiden Black Sigma Delta Squadron Omega, which will just be Ninja Gaiden over again with a new hat for Ryu?

Cuz you didn't take the time to read more interviews with Itagaki, instead you THOUGHT what you wanted to hear.

Let me tell you, I DID read most of his interviews, and in his latest ones, he clearly states that the XBOX 360 is his favourite console of choice, and the DS is his favourite handheld(but thats a different story). So, do you now see that your baseless and unfounded statement sounds ridiculous in my point of view..

Last time I checked static meant stationary and Ninja Gaiden did NOT have a stationary camera except for 2 bosses.

He said the "PS3 was truley a great machine". But regardless of all of that Sigmas' sales were too pathetic to warrant a sequel.the original NG on Xbox shipped over a million worldwide and has a very large core fanbase on xbox, especially in U.S. Even IF it does go to PS3 after 9 or so months noone will care. Nowa days there are very few exclusive games.
