Some of the standards you guys have are pathetically high. For Christ sake, you complain about the boxart? OH NOOOOEES!
You're all too spoilt! NGII is friggen impressive on its own merits, and if you don't think so you must be stupid. Plus it looks equally as good as Sigma, which is more than a compliment.
[QUOTE="-wii60-"][QUOTE="Liquid-GEAR"]It looks better than Sigma and it isn't finished. :|Not at all[QUOTE="Sir-Marwin105"][QUOTE="Liquid-GEAR"]Doens't look as good as SIGMA yetLiquid-GEAR
Ninja Gaiden 2:
Ninja Gaiden SIGMA:
I expect it to get better though
and no it doesn't look anywhere near as good as sigma yet.
Your not very perceptive are you? Have you seen the side by side comparisons of Sigma and the released NG2 footage? NG2 is already better looking than Sigma, and so it should be, Sigma is merely a port.
All this goodness and it's still got about a year of dev time, this can, and will beat the **** out of GoW3 :D

Typical day in PS3 usage goes like this: R&C, Uncharted demo, GT5: P, maybe HS..
My dad watches BR movies on his PS3 downstairs.)I might have to get me a 360 for this and RE5. After I see the reviews though because if I buythem andthier 10 hours long I'll be very very mad.jdc6305
If they are running Master Ninja Tournements, you may want it to be 10 hours long. It's a nightmare trying to improve your score on a 30 hour game :?
[QUOTE="Sir-Marwin105"][QUOTE="Koalakommander"]Really? I expected the sequel to a game to play like the previous game. :|Looks like NG2 is going the same path DMC4 is. Slight refinements.
When this gen started my hype for those 2 games was through the roof. Now I have this feeling like I've already played both of these games a long time ago..
Koalakommander
I like my next-gen leaps to be somewhat interesting.
What exactly would you have wanted from NG2 that wouldn't have pissed off NG fans?

I have a PS3 strictly for gaming but my dad has a PS3 for BR movies)
And i have more proofs to get u banned bandodger.
 oh snap you got him
looks crap, should have been on ps3 and by using bluray and teh cell it should have looked alot better
mingo123
I dont believe a game would look diffrently cuz of the blu ray.... IT could be longer but devloppers just dont want to put money in it .. instead they put the crappy true hd sound that nobody uses, copy the damn game twice to show it can and at last you have the crappy hi def videos to remind us that their game doesnt look as good as hi def videos...
what if they would put compression and make games like Mass Effect and NG2 twice/triple as large, without putting in too much of the garbage... oo well when PS3 shows its for games and can really do what Im imagining... I might say hi but im afraid we willl just see another uncharted/crappy sword thing again..
[QUOTE="fuzzysquash"]The character models look slightly better, but the lighting, pacing, and particle effects from the blood and limbs blow Sigma away.[QUOTE="Sir-Marwin105"][QUOTE="Lonelynight"]Doesn't look that much different than sigmaSir-Marwin105
Character models are not better, lighting is better, pacing isn't even a graphical element, particle effects are better, but nothing "blows away" Sigma.
Sigma looks amazing. In terms of visuals, Itagaki has been unable to achieve a quantum leap from the Playstation 3 NG game. But given that Sigma was so impressive, NG2 is also very impressive. It's just not the leap many people were expecting.
By pacing, I meant the speed of everything. The game is faster than Ninja Gaiden. I love Ninja Gaiden, but in all honesty, I think you overrate Sigma's graphics.Have you played Sigma?

One thing though, NG2 is not done yet. When Sigma was first announced it didn't look that much better than NGB, and then look what happened.
Actually, Sigma looked amazing from the very beginning--from the very first trailer. It did not change in any graphically significant way from the first trailer until release.
But fanboys bashed it for looking like a "high-res" NG:B until its release, and now those same fanboys are probably praising NG2's graphics.
