Ninja Gaiden 3 Restarting from the Beginning

This doesn't really affect my hype for the game. I don't love the NG games for the story, its the gameplay that catches me. Now I just need to hope that Ninja Theory doesn't turn Ryu into a depressed meth addict vampire

Yeah I expect the pansy version of Ninja Gaiden with NG3.

In an ideal situation. They expand more on the glorious combat in NG2, make his movement even more fluid. Than pair it with the godly level design/pacing that Ninja Gaiden Black had(and the balance) and the superior boss fights(although Genshin was sooooo good in NG2). You would have the true sequel to the best hack n slash game period(That is Ninja Gaiden Black for the uneducated).

That said I'm not getting my hype up for this. It's Ninja Gaiden so I am always going to be interested, but until Hayashi proves he's nothing more than the dude that added the crappy Rachel missions in Sigma(and then made Sigma easier than Black), I refuse to get excited for a true heir apparent for NGB. His best work was fixing up a game that Itagaki admittedly left broken(NGsigma 2), but I don't think that's enough reason to believe he's in the same tier as Itagaki.

Yeah I put Itagaki on a pedestal here, bring the hate.

Looking forward to it. It's not like the story was some epic saga that they are about to ruin by taking it in a different direction. In fact, I think most would agree that the story was the absolute weakest part of Ninja Gaiden. Surely they could not make it worse, lol. Hell, I am glad they are changing it up a bit. Maybe they are actually trying to give it a story that I can take a bit more seriously in addition to the gameplay that we all know and love. Sounds good to me.

Well considering the dude that is taking over has basically never made a ninja gaiden game from scratch before and his track record of what he has done before its gonna be semi-fail there is still a variable as to how much he is gonna change i wish him luck cause if he makes to easy and goes with the all graphics easy gameplay this board is gonna be on fire like nba jam and it wont be a good thing
