[QUOTE="silentobi"]Holy Crap! Did you even played the game? :shock:silentobi

I have it for Xbox and bought it again for PS3, your point? Recentering puts the camera on your character, it doesn't put it where you necessarily want it. Recentering does nothing to fix the camera issues.

Then you can't have been any good. There's several things you can do when you put the focus back on Ryu..The only problem is that the camera is not focusing on Ryu and goes somewhere else and you can't see where the enemies are and where there attacking from.

When you put the focus back on Ryu by pressing 1 button you can now get a better few of your surroundings. Just remember to block.

Often the camera is too zoomed in and the problem is all you can see is Ryu. And it doesn't turn around to face the enemy. Remember the room on the airship with the cargo containers on the far wall and the people coming in the windows? That scene the camera was so frustrating. You can never tell what windows the enemy is coming in from. The only way you know where they are is because they are shooting at you. Same with the boss on the horse, you have no idea where he is half the time. Yeah I can "block" and wait for him to come into view but that's an excuse not a solution.

I cleared both the Airship battle and the Fire horse boss without even getting hurt. Guess what I did....?

The horse brought me to tears at my first attempts...had nothing to do with the camera though lol.

You made Ryu sit there like a wussy with the block button held down until the enemy got close enough that they were within view. Just admit it, the camera is something they could work on. Nobody is saying the game sucks or anything just that they could improve the camera. And that is 100% true.

Nope you face Ryu where you want to look and hit the right trigger. Takes all of one half second.

Like TOA Cryrus said NG's camera is the best of it's kind. And to change it would be changing the whole game.

It doesnt take you out of the action at all. You always want to be facing the enemies anyway and hitting the right trigger doesnt take your fingers off the block and attack buttons.

Not change the camera. Fix it.

If Mario Galaxy can find a way to do away with the second analog stick camera control than whats NG2's excuse?

Sounds like developer laziness to me.

With Mario Galaxy they designed the levels extremly open so there are no obsticles for the camera, or if there were they went into a fixed side view. This abvously cant be done in Ninja Gaiden.

Its not a problem, almost all games of this type require players to control the camera and Ninja Gaiden actually takes the least effort. Also its not a work around its how the devs intended it to work.

The camera is always an issue in these type of games (just like DMC and GoW), they like the 'cinematic' look which captures the action in the most sty1ish way possible; at the gamers expense. :)

If the camera's the only issue (which is nothing new), then I wouldn't be worried.

Can't or won't? The only limits are the imaginations of the devs. Perhaps than Ninja Gaiden shouldn't have such enclosed levels if it can't handle it.

Imagine Ninja Gaiden with Mario Galaxy type levels. It wouldnt work. Galaxy's camera is alse extremly zoomed out which would break the fighting system which relies on precision.

It's obviously not a problem to good players. Perhaps you need to stop playing the game if you can't handle it.

I gave MGS a hard time with the fixed camera in part 3. Its a legitimate criticism. Take that "hardcore" gameplayer crap somewhere else.

If this is the only problem then it's a non issue for me. I didn't have any problems in NGB once I got used to it.

People always complain about the camera in NG games. I never had a problem with them. Well not in combat anyway. The platforming sections were a bit difficult because of the camera. But since 99% of the game is fighting it was never a big deal to me.

lol you havent played the game dont you? in ninja gaiden black and sigma you can move the camara with the right stick, but is that fast the action that you dont have anytime to do that
