Even more shocking is......Look at NG Dragon Sword on DS.......Even with very large DS, this game sold horrible....

To me lems OVERHYPE this game too much.....It`s good franchise but mediocre at best.....I can`t believe lems hype this game as 360 system seller.....To me it will be miracle if NG2 sales reach 1 million.....

Does that make them any less fun to play? No.

Ninja Gaiden is a great series in my opinion, I enjoyed the XBOX version it was awesome, and I'm sure NG2 will turn out to be great.

Who gives a flying **** how big of a seller it is, besides fanboys?

I consider the original to be the best action game of all time (as do many others), so forgive me for not giving a damn about whether or not it will be a "killer app".

It will be a fantastic game, and that's really all that matters.

I'm willing to bet Ninja Gaiden 2 will sell more than a million copies, if not more. But none of that really matters, because the games are freaking great.

IT started off as a new IP(don't **** to me about the NES games) on a unpopular Platform(FPS dominant xbox). IT sold fairly well, under 1 million..but spawned 2 remakes and was critically hauled as one of the best action titles on Xbox. The fanbase for NG has grown into tecmo's biggest title..even ahead of DOA. NG2 is going to sell 1 million quite easily imo...and then maybe it will become a "big game"? But noone is denying it being an amazing game.

And Okami is a rubbish game coz it sold rubbish . Lmao. And dont' compare it to NGDS...totally different.

It's a great game, even in it's many incarnations (NG, NGB, NGS, NGDQ), it still managed to garner high praise in reviews; it's in a niche genre (BeatMUps) and it's learning curve (short for me, but long for others) doesn't appeal to the mainstream market.

This sequel has the potential to sell more, whether or not it reaches the 1 million mark isn't really up for debate (due to history) but to quote a very funny phrase, "I don't play Sales."

true it's not big in terms of sells but it deserves to be. Maybe if they market it a little better and spread sum luv to the ps3 instead of critizing NG sigma saying it isnt the complete version then maybe they just might sell better.

I will talk about the NES game, becuz on the XBox it wasn't a new IP. I don't understand how you can call it a new IP?

I have seen few people hype this game as "system seller". This game has a fanbase that is very dedicated to the series. They are not as loud as Halo 3 fans because there is less of them and they kill in the shawdows. It may sell a few since NG Sigma players may jump consoles to play the sequal. It is not a "system seller" though.

I love this game and I am very excited for the sequel. I just think you are confusing a few people saying it will be a system seller with the majority of the fans who are going to pick this game up and already own a 360.

The difficulty only makes the game better- its not an annoying, cheap difficult- its a get-you-fired-up type of difficulty that makes you want to try that much harder.
