Look at NG, NGB and NGS sales.....Not even one reached 1 million copies......
Even more shocking is......Look at NG Dragon Sword on DS.......Even with very large DS, this game sold horrible....
To me lems OVERHYPE this game too much.....It`s good franchise but mediocre at best.....I can`t believe lems hype this game as 360 system seller.....To me it will be miracle if NG2 sales reach 1 million.....

Calling Ninja Gaiden mediocre is proof you're not even a gamer, either that or I'm sensing massive amounts of bitter tears because NG2 looks to be the best damn action game ever made.

Yeah, its a great game, but its not a proven seller, ill be buying NG, but i dont expect it to break 2 - 2.5 million.
You talk as if 1 million is a small number... 500k-750k is more of the cutoff point where you can say if a game sold well or not. And I'm pretty sure all 3 Ninja Gaidens got near or over that number.
Either way, what do it's sales numbers have to do with how good the games are? NG is arguably the best current Action franchise. You'll have a pretty hard time convincing me otherwise.
If that be the case TC, I guess 50 Cent Bullet Proof is one of the best games alive. Sales only describes a game's popularity, not it's quality.
who cares how much it sells its just another 360 exclusive amongst others(Mass Effect, Bioshock, Halo 3) that are going to make people want a 360, the 360 catalogue keeps growing and looking better and better

In part it's the fault of the cramped and narrow environments that make up a significant portion of the game. In part it's a problem with opponents that move so quickly and attack from any angle so they can only be tracked manually. But overall it's thoroughly disappointing: the very second battle of the game takes place on a narrow, descending ramp, and in the course of this fight the camera will do everything but show you the fight as it needs to be seen – getting stuck, losing sight of Ryu in the midst of the group, and occasionally flipping views back and forth in the space of a few seconds.
"It's not the only issue with NGII, but it's really the only important one. Other irritants largely come down to personal preference: the increasing dependence on demons and other magical foes (in short, distance attacks) as the stages wear on, the rather anodyne puzzles, the usual ineffectiveness of your shuriken."
Its a great game, and this previewer isn't even being too critical. NG series has always had major issues, and is really over hyped.Does that make them any less fun to play? No.
ZimpanX
How can they be less fun when they were never fun to begin with?
You're so original, not at all a PS3 fanboy stereotype or anything.Nice thread, hypo. Look at Halo's sales. Is the series great? I don't think so.

I hope you're not sarcastic. I guess maybe I was a little harsh. It is a great series, but it's not THAT great.
and once again about NG2
"And this is why the camera is such a surprisingly big issue. This isn't a problem with it getting caught on a corner occasionally, nor the odd confusing switch of perspective. It is a constant problem: obscuring foes, breaking up combos, losing track of Ryu, and flicking back and forth between positions.""

Great sales =/= great series.
Psychonauts was by far the best platformer last gen, and I owned one of like 12 copies sold.
Spider man 3 (movie) made almost a billion dollars...great film? I think not.
Why the **** are people using 50Cent Bulletproof as an Example!??? It didn't sell THAT much.Kratos_OMEGA
It cracked a million. Way to much for a piece of crap game like that.

We know you wish it was on PS3. Don't worry, you have HAZE!
considering the xbox1's install base NG+NGB sold a 1 million + combined, and sigma sold half million but its a port
I wouldn't be surprise if NG2 sold a million in its first week
