So I guess this means both games are different enough to consider them exclusives in there own rights. Well alright, here is hoping the PS3 version gets a AA score in the least. :)
If Dead Rising isn't exclusive due to Dead Rising:Chop Till You Drop it only makes sense that the same applies to Ninja Gaiden II and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.
Ninja Gaiden 2 is a multiplat. The Sigma version is exclusive to the PS3. Does this distinction change the fact that you can play NG2 either system? No.
Basically like calling exclusive DLC a full fledged game exclusive, that's what the extra stuff adds up to, about equaling say Fallout 3's most recent DLC in extra content, well probably less actually. So as you can see, it's a huge stretch to call it exclusive.

Wait..so that's what the PS3 box art looks like ? Looks really disappointing. I was hoping it would match the original NG2 box art (not the 360 one which still looks meh to me)

i dun see the problem, NG2 isn't onthe PS3 so it is X360 exclusive.... the same goes for NGS2....... the name of the games tells you they are different.........it is that simple.....btw the boxart for NGS2 is awesome, the black color is so sexy.
If Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is an exclusive then that implies that Ninja Gaiden 2 on Xbox 360 is an exclusive as well seeing as Sigma2 being exclusive implies that it's a new game. You really can't have one without the other.
Yes, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is exclusive. Just like how Ninja Gaiden 2 is exclusive. You could jump through all kinds of semantics and technicality hoops to try and say that it's not, but those two games are only available on their respective consoles.
They are different. The Sigma games are much more than ports. I could understand the confusion if the PS3 Ninja Gaiden games were straight-up ports without name changes, but the "Sigma" series always offers up more content. The games are inherently different on the different platforms. And... for the record... NGS2 will be >>>>>>> NG2.

Did you play the original on the xbox though? That was the main problem with Sigma, they watered down the difficulty horribly.I thought so. I beat it on xbox, then bought Sigma and felt it was easier. GoW is great for story, music, and combat, but imo, NG is the king of hard to master but oh so rewarding combat.

I'm with you Espada12. Imagine a Port of KZ2 with Rico and Templar playable, and you can carry more than 1 rifle, but instead of the cool blood spurts when Helghast get shot, Purple essence flows out of them. WEAK

True. Well you're probably right since you've played NG2, but Sigma 2 is going to be my first, so I don't know what is missing. Know what I mean?

Gamespot also says GRAW is mutiplatform -- SystemWars says otherwise. SystemWars will decide whether or not the differences are major enough to warrant exclusivity.

Fair enough for me. I don't care what NGS2 has or scores, they kiddied it down. Removing the blood and gore doesn't make it less violent. Swinging a katana at someone is violence regardless of what comes out of them.

Dude do your reasearch. Dismemberment is in after all its acutally part of gameplay in part 2. Only thing missing is the gallons of blood that comes out the people when you start sliceing them in pieces. NG has never been about blood and gore its not one of the staples of the francise like it is for GOW. Sigma 2 still has blood and dismemberment just not with gallons of blood. Think like sigma1 blood amount. They just replace the gallons that came out when youdismemebered the people into a purple mist. THey just thought that looked cooler.
well, i think by the time that NGS was released(2007), Sony still didnt used the " Only On " bar...same goes for MGS4(2008 and no bar), Heavenly Sword, Uncharted 1, Motorstorm 1, Resistance 1(2006 but still has no bar), Warhawk (2007), and so on....personally i wouldnt consider ir 100% EXCLUSIVE, since it the same as the 360 version, but with extra stuff.

To put it in simplist terms: they're completely and utterly different games. They share VERY VERY FEW things in common. I could go into detail if you so please, but there's no need to when the latter was already said. For the record, I've played the PC and Xbox 360 version so I'm very knowledgeable on the such topic.

Are you sure you read Gamespot's reviews of all 4 versions from start to finish, they don't seem the same as the 360 version to me.
