[QUOTE="D_Znuhtz"][QUOTE="supermechakirby"]Again, Ninja Gaiden was Published by Tecmo so was black and Sigma, Tecmo prolly didnt have much of an advertising Budget, thats why people dont really know of Ninja Gaiden
but NG2 is Being published by MS and will be marketed like Halo
and so NG2 will achieve the sales it deserves as being the BEST Action Adventure Brawling type game (dont mention RE4 because I am talking about Games like NG, DMC, GoW, HS, Too Human, Onimusha, I wish these games had its own Genre...)
and no Difficulty isnt the case, because even the casual Halo Lovers beat Halo on Legendary, but it seems Team Ninja is trying to make an easier difficulty for them, even if they do, that doesnt mean the rest of the game will be easier, we always have higher difficulties..
also anyone found a NG2 Video yet that isnt the Teaser Trailer?

Advertising doesn't have anything to do with it. The style of the game is very low-budget. The voice acting, when there is any, isn't very strong. The story is hardly worth caring about. The level design is bland, and environments are used over and over again. The music isn't good enough to be used in gonzo porn.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE NINJA GAIDEN (go ahead and quote), but the presentation and production values leave a lot to be desired.
NG might indeed have the best fighting system, but really, who cares? You fight virtually the same enemies for an entire game, in the same boring levels, listening to the same boring music and occasionally watching a boring FMV which attempts to move the boring story along.
The actual gameplay/fighting system in NG is amazing, it's absolutely rock-solid and needs no tweaking. The presentation of the game is a weak point, and a seriously weak point at that.
GOW, on the other hand, throws you into an amazing, epic story from the beginning, in huge, beautiful and unique environments, where things are constantly happening in the background. The music and voice acting is of the highest quality out there. The story (especially in GOW2) is epic and makes you care about finishing the game. There is variety in the levels. You even ride a gryphon around at certain points. The boss fights are absolutely astounding, and give you a real sense of accomplishment.
Bottom line: if NG wasn't an Xbox game, it wouldn't be nearly as popular or well-received. Best fighting system out there (GOW, DMC, HS, take note), but horrible production values hamper what could be one of the best action platformers ever.
well then in that sence then NG2 will be better, because they now have the financial backing of MS to get moar developers and better voice acting and an actual author for story writing like they did with Lost Odyssey
Yeah man, you're right. It can work, and I really hope it does. I plan to buy a 360 in the coming year, and NG2 might be another good reason. However, if they don't shake the crappy old school element that most Konami, Tecmo, Namco, Sega etc games have (same font for 20 yrs? same MIDI music?), it won't be anywhere near GOW, for me. I want UPDATED menus, great voice acting, a cool story with some twists, good music by a real composer...
If NG2 does all of this, it will be awesome, and actually deserve a AAA score, imo.
