Nintendo and Sony next handhelds?

The way Sony bragged before the DS stomped the PSP into the dirt, one would think differently. :roll:

Its Sony they brag about everything and quit frankly they had too with the psp. They had to hype it up trough the roof in order to make a successful entrance in the war, it was all for marketing. Sony always lies, they knew deep down they wouldn't win it but they hyped it up soo high so that the consumers can buy it. Look at it this way, why would the consumers buy a non nintendo handheld when they are proven to a non/new hyped product?

Do you guys know when or have any information on Sony's and Nintendos next handhelds?

i think the next handhelds from sony and nintendo are still 2-3 years away .

All handhelds are bad i think. Nintendo really dissappointed me with the DS. There are only 3 good games and two of those are Pokemon games...the touchscreen is hard to use and unresponsive and the screen itself is very small. The psp has maybe 1 good game and that is God of War. hoola

You either have a disturbing taste in games, or you haven't really looked at the DS's lineup.. or the PSPs.

Carts still have advantages for handhelds, one of the biggest flaws for the PSP was the shorter battery life, and a more minor flaw was the loading times. Of course, high capacity carts are more expensive to make than discs, but overall I think this gen Nintendo was right to stick with carts. Next gen may be different

I think both of their next handhelds will be amazing.

I hope Sony has learned their lesson with their first shot at the handheld market, that they won't aim for the sorry-ass-teenager-userbase-that-destoryed-psp-software sales again, and make the security as good as the PS3's.

It was there first handheld and they were going against Nintendo what did you think was going to happen?
