Bayonetta 1 has 90% metascore. Xenoblade has 92% metascore.

These two games are getting sequels / spiritual sequels on Wii U.

It just feels weird to me that somehow these games are perceived as a tier below GTA/Bioshock. I'm more excited for Pikmin 3 than GTA V :/

You mean they must fund games like Bayonetta 2 because Sega cancelled the project.

Those 2 things don't contradict one another, it's a great move by them to scoop up easy target with high potential.

Well as many of you know, Nintendo exploded this morning with its Nintendo Direct. They hinted at and showed off a few new games in addition to the strong lineup they already had planned for the year. So because it's system wars, my question is, what publisher can possibly compete with the following in 2013?

Wii U

-Pikmin 3

-The Wonderful 101

-Yoshi

-Lego City Undercover

-The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker

-Bayonetta 2

-potentially the next 3D Mario (to be playable this E3)

-potentially the next Mario Kart (to be playable this E3)

-potentially X (the open world JRPG Monolith showed gameplay of this morning)

3DS

-Fire Emblem Awakening

-Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon

-Pokemon X/Y

-Animal Crossin New Leaf

-Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

"what is this" on Wonderful 101; it's directed by Kamiya (Resident Evil 4) and made by Platinum Games (incredible track record). I became a massive fan after Bayonetta and Vanquish. Now they are doing this, Bayo 2 and MGS:Rising.

Wtf is "already" on Mario Kart U? Been 5 years since MK Wii launched.

I'm excited for a bunch of games on Nintendo's lineup this year. The pinnacle for me is Pikmin 3 and the Fire Emblem/SMT mashup.

Nintendo just made the WiiU a lot sexier, for sure.

Pokemon is terrible now. The last one I actually had fun with was Diamond.

Diamond / Pearl launched in 2007.

After that Black / White in March 2011.

Now we are getting X / Y in October 2013.

I included the month to show that it's 2.5 years in between. All the other Pokemon games are not part of the mainline series. There have only been one new gen released after Diamond.

yes $59.99 ports and rehashes that doesn't even look better than launch games on the xbox 360. Nintendo fanboys will desperately cling to anything, now more than ever since Wii-U is failing badly and is receiving less 3rd party support than even the gamecube. Let's not mention how Nintendo is nickel-and-diming their fanboys by not only charging them for virtual console games they already bought on the Wii, but now on demos as well. It's despicablethat Nintendo fanboys are defending this shameless move.
