Irrelevant. SMG will sell outside of America and the last mario game out sold 9.5 million so far (more than any halo game). and people WILL be camping out for a Wii if past experience is anything to go byNorthlandMan

I still think halo 3 will beat SMG overall. The install base of Xbox 360 is larger than Xbox. During Xbox 1, only a small 10% were on Xbox Live.

Now, five years later, about 60% are on Xbox Live. That is growth from the previous generation. Better online advertising and marketing will propel Halo 3 to ungodly heights.

If SMG beats Halo 3 in sales at the end, I will own up to it. But I bet if Halo 3 beats SMG in sales, the sheep will simply say, "You can't compare these games. Completely different genres!"
I know these deceptive tactics well, for I have seen them used often.

I couldn't care less what one or the other says about the game(s) in question. I would love to see the result of this.

I'm hyped more for Galaxy, but see Halo 3 being a monster.

:) i dont hate the 360 because competition is good.. but certain fanboys need to Learn that Nintendo is the master.. Nintendo does this for fun...

Even if they were direct competetors Halo 3 would still win. But since they are not and on different systems its a moot point.

Terrible Idea, Release it the Week before. That's how you take the wind out of somethings sails.

... Not that it would hurt Halo much... it's fanbase is rabid.
