I agree with everything you said here my man. Miiverse really is amazing and a lot of fun. And it seems like it will be much more practical for interactions with friends than the other networks. But we'll see.

And a NEW Earthbound would be world shattering.

The f*ck out of here, he forces more rhymes than any other mother f*cker on the planet. His word play is borderline pathetic, and as far as punchline rappers go? I grew up on guys like Big L and shit, so he needs to step it up to get any credit for stuff like that. His flow makes up for a lot of his poor lyrics as it's very much influenced by Jay Z's flow, and he's got that style of pacing to his tracks.

But thematically and lyrically you have to literally have ignored a shit load of vastly superior emcees to find his work even remotely worth the hype. On his best days post Late Registration(and f*ck even then) he's been mediocre on the mic. Would rather listen to Royce, would rather listen to Kno or the rest of Cunninlynguist, Ghostface had better albums recently.

I would even take my chances with the creatively deprived stuff from Eminem and Jay Z, or that preachy douche Lupe. Give me This Aint No Mixtape over anything Kanye has done in the last decade.
