I think its important to note that during N64's run there was a Eartbound 64 game planned but sadly it got canceled, so maybe with the increase of popularity for Earthbound a Wii U version can be made (I know creator said he had no plan for a new game, so this is likely not to happen). On topic: I will reitierate what I already stated. I would love it of course if Mother 3 got a virtual console release, but that would be far less exciting and impactful than releasing a brand new Wii U Earthbound. I love classics getting virtual console re-releases (I'm old enough to have grown up with literally almost all of them), but it's all about releasing games that are contemporary to be considered relevant. And an old game, no matter how amazing, isn't contemporary therefore I don't see it as relevant.

Regardless, it will all be good news in its own repsect!
