[QUOTE="KungfuKitten"]No? I heard from reviewers that Kid Icarus has these very very very bad english voices. I haven't heard them myself and I'm not saying voices make a game, but they can seriously hurt a game if they're horrible and ever present. So when I heard about it I was like 'aw meh' and I pushed it out of my mind.Kid Icarus can't be awesome. Did you hear the ridiculous voices?

There's a rumour that says that Nintendo will hold a major conference where they'll announce a remake of the 7th installment of a popular franchise when the 3DS hits XX million sales. The 3DS recently passed the 5 million mark in Japan, so people thought this would be the conference. Since the rumour said "XX million", people are now assuming it's 10 million because it's double digits. It's more likely to be DQ7 than FF7 though.I know I'm late to the party, but what exactly made people think there would be an FFVII remake?

It can't break a handheld title when the volume slider is a finger movement away.KungfuKitten
Either way, the point of the game seems to be the multiplayer rather than the single player.

The voices are pretty over the top and campy but they are pretty entertaining. I don't think they're bad at all, and I'm pretty sure they're supposed to be that way due to how the game itself is. It's all very over the top and ridiculous.
Fire Emblem? Shining Force without the sense of adventure? No thanks!

This is a joke right?

No. I had one of the games on the gamecube. It was so dull and overrated like much of the other games out for the system.

I haven't played Shining Force in a while, but how does FE remind you of it?It's not there actually was any adventuring in the Shining Force games. You just walked around without really having to do anything. The exploration that you had was just walking to the next battle most of the time.No. I had one of the games on the gamecube. But they're still fantastic games. :P
I don't know what you're issue with the Fire Emblem games is though, but to each their own.

I completely disagree especially in Shining Force 2. There were towns to explore, chests to find, hidden places. A sense of adventure I would not have had were the game a series of battles with no respite.
But there was never anything significant or worthwhile anywhere except for the chests and occassionally some nonessential characters. Very rarely did the battle intermissions contribute significantly in a way that couldn't have been handled similarly to Fire Emblem, and the game wouldn't have lost anything.I completely disagree especially in Shining Force 2. Thats just untrue. It's the difference between a cut scene and linear exploration. You can't compare the two. You had freedom in shining force, albeit with a single main objective to achieve.

Well then, you probably never played Fire Emblem Gaiden nor Sacred Stones. I'm not saying you're wrong, but like NF_2 said to each of there own
The only thing the exploration leads to is a battle that may or may not have some text. Characters could just as easily be recruited in battle, and chests could just as easily be opened during battle. The exploration is really just making sure that your focus in a battle is soley on the battle at hand, while in Fire Emblem you have to focus on getting chests and recruiting characters.Thats just untrue. [QUOTE="whiskeystrike"]He bashes/bashed the 3DS a lot too. I'm the true sheep :x ...................I don't like the Wii that much either. I'm the only true sheep! I like both systems. ;) Not in a finalstar level though.Charizard bashes the Wii a lot though. He's really just a handheld sheep. Whereas people like Saolin and Finalstar are on a whole different level.

Reggie: *laughs*
better give me that or else :o
We're SERIOUSLY still on about Fatal Frame 4? You know, the one that ended up being buggy as hell and no one even bothered to fix it?
NICE!!!
First Xenoblade, now Last Story, pretty damn good news, now we are only missing Pandora's Tower which from what i read is the least stellar of the 3 so i guess we are good.
Anyway, yay for Fire Emblem, there is been a while since i enjoy one of those games and i'm dying for a new one (offtopic, how good is that DS Fire Emblem game?), even if is not announced for NA yet i have no doubt we will be getting it later.
It's Chemical Viking.
SuperFlakeman
Yep, you nailed it, his best game of all time could be perfectly ported to a Nintendo console and he will still find something to complain about it.

Not the best in the series because they try to emulate the first game with enhance graphics.

This. It's a pretty noticeable step back in refinement and character if you've played through any other FE game. Please Log In to post.
