Nintendo Direct, Sept 14th

As a fan of Suikoden I’m definitely looking forward to Eiyuden Chronicles.

I actually bought Eastward day one on Switch but I've yet to play it.

Decent show, but F-Zero 99 was the worst announcement. As Stephen King says, "Sometimes, dead is better!"

Decent show. I really wanted Twilight Princess and Wind Waker for the Switch though.

So Paper Mario TTYD is a masterpiece. Really glad it's coming back. But I would've preferred the original over HD. OR HDify Paper Mario 64 and TTYD and bundle them together. That $60 is hard to justify.

There have been better and worse directs. This one was mediocre.

Tomb raider collection day one but got the feeling it will come to ps and Xbox.

The Princess Peach game was the only thing that looked interesting from the Direct.

Loves me the Tomb Raidering OGs pre Legend.

Price on Steam actually seems decent. For once.

It's good to see Aspyr just being Aspyr again.

Remaking KOTOR with a new writing team (why?) consisting only of people that hate gamers was a terrible idea and I'm glad it got canned.

I just want to relive the old TR games in all their glory and I'm sure it'll receive a ton of mod support on PC. Good times ahead!

Bought Wartales and will pick up Super Mario RPG since I never owned a SNES.

Haven't watched it, but hear it was the definition of horsewater. But Sony will deliver an equally shitty show in 15 minutes so you sheep have no reason to feel bad.

Bandle Tale looks a little cute and so does Eastward, but I have Don't Starve Together on my PC. Those games might give me fatigue and overwhelm me a bit, if I buy both of them.

I'm majorly excited for Pokemon Scarlet/Violet DLC. Right now, I'm in the process of replaying Violet with a team that consists of Pokemon native to that game. I want my end game team to be Skeledirge, Tinkaton, Farigiraf, Annihilape, Arboliva, and Garganacl. I have both games as well, so I might craft another team and Pokemon from any region, but that I've never had. Fun fact, I've never had a Heracross, and I've always wanted one!

Totally wasn't expecting that. As a Spy X Family fan, I can tell you now I'm very hyped to see Anya getting her own game and I like the art style as well.

The direct was decent and I normally don't try to hype myself as I tend to keep myself in check. both Spy X Anya & Luigi's Mansion 2 HD has sold me the most!

When I saw the Anya game, I was thinking of you :P "What will davillain think of this?"

And, I think your mentality is very healthy, to keep hype in check. I agree fully, the show was decent, not great, but not bad either. F-Zero was a bummer. But Peach and the Vanillaware game made up for it. I also never picked up the thousand year door. But after BG3, I am extremely wary about playing another RPG.

Keeping hype in check, and not giving in to FOMO are probably teh best attitudes a gamer can have. We all know how critical I was of Elden Ring last year. I gave in to social pressure and it made me miserable. At least I somewhat learnt my lesson with BG3. Still room for improvement.

An extreme amount of ports and re-releases. Confirming F-Zero is dead. A new Mario vs. DK that no one wants.

A remake of the GBA Mario vs DK, which technically isn't the original. That would be DK 94. The game that tricks you thinking it's a port of the arcade game, then...

You could see from that direct that they are winding down the switch and readying for the switch 2.

Looks like the Switch will go out with a bang... some great looking games coming.

I'm pretty happy with it! I never got to play Thousand Year Door, so I'll definitely be picking up the remaster.

What a naive thing to say.

You just dont get companies like this no more. Nintendo pumping out 20 games a year on a console thats going on year 7. Meanwhile Sony still trying to release one game this year.

@Archangel3371: It could end up being my favourite system of all time, with the best library of games imo.
