youre a brave sole. weighing that decision on the opinions of the crazed fanboys of this forum. maybe a game purchase, but never a system purchase. this is one of those decisions you do your won research and come up with your own decision. only you know whats right for you. and while i havent read through all the posts, im sure youve started a very nice fight between the two groups. theyll both fight to the death for a new member.

DS: Almost as epic as the GBA, will catch up in a years time.

TalesofRaGnArOk

Since it can play GBA games, wouldn't that make it more epic than the GBA?

Like most said, it depends on what you like.
Pros of DS: DS has a lot more games, plus a touch screen, two screens, WiFi.

Cons of DS: Graphics are of PS1-N64 quality, touch screen can get scratched, can be hard to control some games with a touch screen. (This may be good or bad, but almost all games rely on the touch screen.)

Pros of PSP: Awesome graphics, Multimedia features (movies, music), Large Screen, many RPGs, WiFi

Cons of PSP: Needs memory cards, screen is easy to smudge, not a large library of games.
