Game Cube led me to give up on Nintendo and not buy a Wii.

Before then, I loved Nintendo's consoles; Nes, snes and N64.

I didn't think much of Game Cube's library really. Mario Sunshine sucked pretty much. I found Metroid Prime boring. RE4 was apparently good but I didn't like it so much.

The only good game (for me) was Wind Waker.

I don't regret buying it... but it is far from the best console ever created. I think I had more fun in total on an Atari 2600.

How can you say GCN is better than Wii? Wii can play all GCN games, and unlike PS3's PS2 emulator, does so perfectly with no loss in quality. You can even use GCN controllers and memory cards.

Underrated? Yes.

Greatest of all time? Not in my opinion.

SNES, PS1 and PS2 were all better.

I disagree. Doesn't help that I no longer like Mario games & I've never liked Zelda games.

You know, whilst I was playing REmake, Wind Waker, and Metroid Prime, many words passed through my mind, but "FAIL" sure as hell wasn't one of them.

The Gamecube is one of the most underrated consoles of all time, I had so many good times with it and I had a crap load of games. How come none of you couldn't find any?

no, the controller part is opininion based which i agree with, the rest is opinion but PS2 has a far better library of games compared to GCN
