Nintendo is out of touch

So this is why Nintendo is out of touch, instead of innovating again they decided to copy everyone else and call it a dayMeeeper282

If all Nintendo does is copy, what other console has a controller with a screen/touchpad? I ask, because that controller is the main reason that I will be getting the rest of my multiplats for the WiiU. I don't really care that the visuals may not be quite as crisp, but I do care about the ability to play off of the pad. The main reason I have a ton of console games that I don't get around to playing is because I don't want to monopolize the tv, but I also don't want to seperate myself in another room, so I usually play more on my handheld or tablet. Now I can play my console and everyone else can watch tv at the same time. I also really like the uses for the pad within games like ACIII.

The Dreamcast's lcd screen did not allow for 1/10th of the features that the WiiU pad does. Could I play my games on the Dreamcast controller? No. Did I have to look at both tv and lcd screen to play games? No. Was the information displayed on the lcd sreen more detailed and complete that the tv screen? No. Could I watch Netflix on the lcd screen? No.

Not sure about GC, I missed that one, but N64 has TONS of amazing exclusives. I still have it and started to play even games noone ever heard about. Just recently I finished Hybrid Heaven and it was a truly great game.

Nintendo didn't do anything new or innovative with the WiiU? Have you looked into the system at all? The Miiverse functionality, streaming feature, and assymetric gameplay ideas are all unique and innovative. This system is extremely promising because of these interesting new ideas.

Don't spew out the whole Nintendo innovates garbage. They are finally getting around to making a console that has more power than a toaster and an online that doesn't involve Friend Codes.

They do some new things from time to time to stay relevant, but they are still mostly reactionary.

Remember the Wii U is technically next gen. When PS4 and 720 release, they are going to absolutely destroy the Wii U by enhancing already comparable features.

Perhaps we should wait more than a week to say the WiiU striked out, because it seems to be doing quite fine for a console just launching.

They have an army of loyal manchildren ready to be spoon fed their monthly doses of nostalgia and kids whose parents feel safer with mario in the house to keep them afloat. Shame becuase I almost fell for their going core gamers BS, again.:P
