I'm not too keen on this limp-wristed idea that we should respect the opinion of everyone else, if a person's taste in art, music, gaming, cinema et cetera negates my principles then why not discuss it? So long as you have genuine grounds to stake your claim I have no problem, I too cannot stand those who nonsensically denounce an entire genre or idea when they are completely ignorant to it. I deviate all the time. I never get modded so if you wanna stop you can. I however, love talking about anything and everything. Everyone knows I digress a lot. I guess I'm loved for it :P.

Well I agree with you to a certain extent, but you see, Linkin Park are mostly great in their own category. There are worse people in the nu-metal genre, and whilst they have deviated from that sty1e of music, it doesn't take anything away from what they had before.

The thing is, it just reminds me of rock fans who hate on hip hop just because they think the art is talentless. That's so ignorant it's laughable. I mean, it was illustrated for me when someone turned around in a physics class at the beginning of this year and asked the guys "Hey, we hip hop fans don't hate on rock. So then why is it that rock fans always try and bash hip hop and rap?". What followed was the most bullsh*t argument from one of my best friends which made me roll my eyes. You need talent to rap; you need even more talent to produce good rap.

It's the same as saying "Metal Gear Solid is such a rubbish game, shame on you cows. I like Halo." -- it's an indication that you're probably ignorant about the genre of stealth and your opinion should be taken with a grain of salt at best since you would not seem you liked the genre anyway.

Which will probably be around the same time that Miyamoto dies. Which will forever go down as the worst day in the history of gaming. And now I'm off topic.

Sorry but LP rocks to me!!! It's a compiment to me to compare LP to the Wii. Mike Shinoda is a beast at creating lyrics that appeal to me. LP didn't sell anybody out, they are the same just in a diffrent form. Wow they don't yell as much and aren't that angisty as they used to be. They grew up and noticed that yelling about every little thing is pointless. MTM makes me think about life in a diffrent way and makes me appreciate life, which is something we need to do.

If anything at all you all sold out LP by not supporting them beacause they changed. They wanted to change badly, just like nintendo. Just making music and games that appeal to YOU makes you selfish.
