You know why there are so many Mini games on the Wii? I guess it's because they sell well. It's kind of like how the WWII FPS genre was so crowded.

I think the Mario Party series should die...it's just rehash after rehash.

The problem is that these games are Nintendo's focus and they want to makes games and industry geared more towards mothers than people who have actually played games for years, you know, the people who helped keep Nintendo who stuck with them through the good and bad times. They want to make the industry a place filled with crap like Cooking Mama and rid it of stuff like Halo, MGS, Ninja Gaiden, Virtua Fighter, etc. Just listen to Miyamoto's pathetic GDC speech.

Some mini games =/= all of games, online is coming, and graphics are fine. They were never suppose to be next gen quality, but they are starting to look great for what is there.

Those three of the four Wii games the TC nicley listed for us are all online...just thought i'd mention that. I don't feel like arguing against your other statements, you probly don't care.

I agree that they are trying to expand the market, but that is not their only focus. Nintendo knows about their hardcore fanbase, and they are catering to them. Elebits also had online fuctionality. Technically, so did Madden '07 (it connected to the weather channel).

MySims is also rumored to have online.

I saw it, and I chose to ignore it because i've seen the same fanboy bable hundreds of times. I'm not going to repeat myself over and over trying to argue with the next person who says it, trying to convince him otherwise when he probably don't care.

No matter what I say you can always just say ''Well that sucks!" or "That doesn't compare to...", cause then it's just a matter of opinion. And because of our different opinions, we have chosen to side with different consoles. Me with the Wii, and you with which ever console you play.

There IS an online service. Elebits is already an online game.

A large collection of minigames isn't bad, as long as there are other games... which there are. The same can be said about the Xbox 360... it has a large collection of shooters. Not a lot of diversity there.

No one ever said the motion controls make all games better... that's a given. Although, they really do add to gameplay.

I don't even know why you put virtual console in there. Yeah, it's there... use it if you want. It's a great service for old school gamers.

The system hasn't been out long enough to warrant "poorly integrated controls". This is a brand new thing for consoles. Developers are just now getting a hang of it. Although, there are some games with awesome motion sensing. Of course, many of those are minigames, but there are games like SSX Blur which use the controls nicely.

And from the beginning, Wii wasn't about graphics. I don't care if my game doesn't look next gen, but that doesn't mean I don't want it to look nice. A game can look nice and still be on Wii. (See Sonic, Mario, Super smash brothers, metroid, ssx blur, dewy's adventure)
