It'll be called the Yuu. It'll be the same as the Wii, but instead of focusing on groups, it'll be all about Yuu. One Yuu for you, another Yuu for your mom and etc, they'll make millions!
It won't have controllers. It will have a headset (new for Nintendo, I know) that will use your thoughts to control your character. It will also brainwash you into buying all of the games on it. Nintendo has joined forces with BIG BROTHER!
- NO gimmick waggle, Make it work OR give me a standard controller - More core games - NO long game droughts like the Gamecube and Wii - HD graphics please, I don't like being stuck in the past - A reliable online service similar to XBL and PSN - Blu-Ray/DVD player combo please - New IPs like Eternal Darkness and Pikmin - Backwards compatible with Wii and GC and allow 1080p upscaling
It will be Wii2 it will still have motion but realistic graphics that look like real life. Mario, zelda, metroid and other nintendo characters are no more fun so mini games and mini games!!! Also have some weird games like Wii2 bathing where u choose male or female and they teach you how to take a shower. And Wii2 lawn mowing where u mow lawns!!!
I was a hardcore Nintendo fan up until Wii, when that breed apparently died out. I do have a Wii but I would consider PS3 my main system. Even though Nintendo games are my favourite, Nintendo has to switch back to a serious console next generation to keep me on board.
As much as I admire that Nintendo is bringing in a new audience, Nintendo's last chance to win over its hardcore croud is this E3, it's already too late for many though.
The Wii 2 will be very backwards compatible. All Wii games will still work. Probably all gamecube games as well. Wii Motion+ tech will be standard, and all of your Wii + Wii Motion Plus controllers will work for the Wii2. Tech wise, I think it'll be able to put out gameplay graphics that are on par with a PS3 or 360 game when they do in engine cutscenes. Except now every game is at least native 720p. The Wii shows that you don't need crazy insane graphics tech. 360 graphics are good enough for me. By the time the Wii 2 drops, the tech that powers current gen consoles will be chump change. It'll be a major upgrade from the Wii, but one that's cheap and allows Nintendo to sell systems for profit on day one.

Not all of them did, there were a lot of hardcore PSX owners too...but then again, most of my friends were Nintendo fans until the end of the Gamecube, and all of them moved on to the 360(one or two got PS3s, but not many...) soon after the Wii's novelty wore out(about a month after Mario Kart Wii, maybe?). XD But anyways, I'm hoping it'll be not so casual-focused, that's what killed the Wii for me. And maybe some sort of thing like XBOX Live or PS Network where you can enter your age so you don't need those annoying Friend Codes to play online. And more standard controller compatibility, the Wiiggle Remote is just ASKING for shovelware and bad controls. =/ Not to mention I prefer buttonmashing over armflailing anyways. XD

None of that means jack if they don't have a wall of hardcore exclusives.

But to be frank I dont give a damn about another iteration of the Wii. Im having too much fun with my regular Wii.
We know it won't be called Wii2 when in 20 years has Nintendo used 2 at the end of a console? Maybe put Super Wii or Wii 512? lol They should call it Desert because it will be lonely with no games.
