So let me get this straight "NINTENDO OF AMERICA" ceo is saying that "360" isn't selling well in "EUROPE"? Today the president of pluto said that the war between dog star 40 at the other end of the galaxy and planet alpha gamma 9 is not looking good....WilliamRLBaker

In all honesty it doesn't matter who said it. Look at the sales for yourself it'sn not like he's lying. Stop with the damage control.

I know. Reggie is cool but I wish these PR guys would worry more about their own consoles rather than using every opportunity to smear the competition. It's just getting really old and all three are guilty of it. I mean Nintendo has plenty of other stuff to talk about right now ( both good and bad ).

Look at the sales, the 360 is doing very bad since it has had 2 xmas sales here and has barely managed to sell 3 million, ps3 won't be any better, at the min it's ps2 and wii thats doing well here but in a year or 2 it will be ps3 and wii

Can I ask why you are disappointed with their sales projections? Seems you're more interested in that than games. Just curious...

because last time i read vg charts. From launch till sept of 2006 the 360 only sold 1.95mil. it only sold that many for a year headstart in Europe, now something is wrong because they did not have any one to compete against. Those sales numbers for all of europe is way to low. probalby by now it sold 2.5mil to 3mil, but that is still low for a console that has been out the longest out of the 3. it should be close to 5mil or even more.

thats your problem, vgcharts is the most inaccurate site. try a euro site http://en.konsolewars.com/ over 3.7 million for europe. and this is before halo3 launches.

Actually they're welll over 10 million as we speak

About 10.8 million atm.

If you're using nexgenwars can i tell you that they highered the sales to 10,4 million units when Microsoft released the 10,4 million shipped numbers. VGCharts is the most precise.

What he meant was that they have yet to hit 10 million, so they may not hit that 12 million mark

Look at the sales, the 360 is doing very bad since it has had 2 xmas sales here and has barely managed to sell 3 million, ps3 won't be any better, at the min it's ps2 and wii thats doing well here but in a year or 2 it will be ps3 and wiiPaddy234

yep even i a 360 owner feels that MS is failing in europe with sales. 3mil is not alot counting how long MS had no other next gen to compete with for a year. Also with all the good games out for the 360 sales should be higher for the console , but yet they only pulled 3mil. With such a head start lead, 360 should be in the 5-6mil range.

but that is still a low number regardless. with a huge head start, it should of made 5-6mill easily. 360 has awesome games, but yet to fail to sell its consoles in Europe. Even i a 360 owners sees these sales numbers to be weak. but hey if you think 3.7mil is good for as huge Europe is, then that is you.

So what we have here is really unprecedented in the system wars and that is the good possibility that the 360 could win NA and loose elsewhere. As far as I know that has never happened before, the sales leader has always been the same no mater what country. What does that mean and if you own a 360 and like its games? should you care?

it most likely will... over the past two generations, owning a playstation has almost become fashionable in europe... not unlike owning an ipod in much of the world.

Its amazing that everyone sits here and consintrates on sales, I own a 360 and I dont give rats a$$ if the PS3 or the Wii is doing better in sales in EUROPE or Japan. I mean is that supposed to make me say "oh my god I need a Wii right now!! because it is doing sooo good in Japan!!", who the hell cares honestly about frigin sales give it a break. What in the end you can sit there and say oh my Wii sold more than your 360, so I dont care I'm still playing better games than your Wii which has unoriginal games and basically the same frigin games nintendo has been putting out for 15 years, with a dumb controller. Gee thats gonna make me go buy it right now. pffft give me a break, keep looking at the sales guys, I guess it makes you sleep better at night time. GET A LIFE!

LOL Ok So lets see VGcharts.org numbers for 360 and wii in europe.
Xbox 360 2.34 hmmm 2,340,000 hmmm and they dont even have 2007 numbers from europe yet... So how many ps3's have been sold....... Oh wait sony hasn't even released the system there yet....So box 360 in a matter of by the vgcharts numbers, of 14-15 months has sold 2 and a half million consoles in the hardest to sell region on the planet!! hmmmm yep those sales must suck.....wii?

The Wii by VGcharts.org numbers has sold 800,000 units....hmmmmmmmmmm
