I am not one happy sheep. Nintendo yet again delivers a console riding on tragically outspaced third party offerings. And don't even try to argue Okami, nobody will buy it anyway.

Although, PS3's list looks even weaker, with only GT5 and GTAIV causing sparks in the near future.

360 has a remarkably similar list to PS3's in regards to forcasted quality...

the funny thing is, they most likely can ride out summer on mario kart and brawl.

they could ride out the gen on brawl.

By now it's clear they don't really need anything to "Ride out" the summer.

Despite having the weakest library the Wii has been crushing the other two in sales for its entire lifespan. The Wii doesn't need a killer library and a steady stream of good games to kill the competition in the sales department.

It's doing the same thing Nintendo consoles have been doing for the last three generations. Superb 1st party titles every once and a while, very few quality 3rd party titles. You think that would've gone differently seeing as it's the sales leader this time, but nope... same old Nintendo pattern.

And aside from wiiware and Mrio kart wii, the Wii has Tales of Symphonia which is guaranteed to sell at least 300k on day one(that is a lot of an obscure japanese franchise), Final fantasy CC Crystal Bearers, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Red Steel 2 and Fatal frame 4. I know there are more but i can't remember them, whicg shows I probably won't buy them:Pnintendog66

December 2007 Nintendo power issue, it talks of the online play, they show a couple of what are supposed to be in-game screenshots, if they are then it looks great, the continuation of the story, new characters and best of all "refined sword controls which allow you to take out your sword anytime you want with precise motion movements", which basically means you can go "kill bill" the whole game.

I own a Wii by the way, but at least I'm honest about the situation.

As far as the 360 goes, it has a hell of a lot more than just Halo 3 and the 2008 lineup is arguably better than the 2007 lineup for the system.

Well, for one, Brawl is really ****ing good. Two, they've got Mario Kart, Wii Fit, and Wiiware games coming out. Three they've got a few third party games worth a look, most notably Okami and Boom Blox (I for one am looking forward to both.)

Four, there are a ton of games that not enough people bought the first time around that deserve their day in court... so hardcore gamers that need that fix shouldn't complain (cuz I know nobody bought all of these): SSX Blur, Zack and Wiki, Trauma Center, Godfather, Excite Truck, Fire Emblem, Battalion Wars, No More Heroes, etc.

Yeah, Mario Kart and Brawl are the only good games coming out for the rest of 2008 for the Wii. :roll: Just ignore Tales of Symphonia 2, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Fatal Frame IV, Red Steel 2, Boom Blox, and all those other great games coming out.

Nintendo has a number of games that will keep them around throughout the summer... Wii Fit, Mario Kart and Brawl, of course. I dobelieve Nintendo's own fall lineup is pretty weak as of now, but there are a number of sleeper hits that can be amazing (Disaster, de Blob, Mushroom Men and Fragile) as well as ToS2 and FFCC.

The Wii has a fairly weak lineup after Wii Fit, but perhaps Reggie's "secret game" could change things.

Just ignore Tales of Symphonia 2, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Fatal Frame IV, Red Steel 2, Boom Blox, and all those other great games coming out.
