A game's graphics is not only determined by the console's GPU.

Chaos Theory, Doom 3, Fable 2, Half-Life 2, F.E.A.R., Halo 2, KOTOR II, Riddick, etc. Don't bother posting screens of Super Mario Jaggy, either. It's Mario Sunshine with ugly lighting effects, and that's about it.

I did not state that Wii's GPU was better than Xbox's. I said Wii had an overall more efficient system which results in better performance even with a lower GPU.

Sorry if I gave you the wrong idea.

Of course more Wii developers will get better use of the controls as the years go by, The Conduit is just taking a step in the right direction. This is as third-party wii games have had not so good graphics. This can be said for all consoles though, but especially Wii.

You've chosen the worst possible screen for Conduit, to prove your point, how surprising. Conduit still looks a bit more next-gen on technical standpoint. Not to mention, gameplay will still be superior when compared to older fps such as Halo 2 or Half-Life 2.

Motion sensing will improve the gameplay experience also. Fun > Visuals anyway.

You're the one in denial friend. SMG is a masterpiece on the visual aspect. The game uses great colours unlike a boring sleep game like Chaos Theory, wich can't even be considered a game anymore with so much realism in it. More like simulation.

First of all, that GoW shot looks awful. Secondly, the other two screenshots show very simplistic textures and colours. Finally, I have yet to see a good looking shot of The Conduit, yet despite that people who have actually played the game say how great the graphics are.

Besides, take a game like Super Mario Galaxy or Metroid Prime 3 on the Wii, and you'll see just how much better than last gen it truly is. Not by leaps and bounds, but it is there.
