Who cares
@Jag85: "Considering the huge budget of GTA6 (estimated to be around $1-2 billion), "
No way? 😮
Hasn't been officially confirmed or anything, but there were leaks reporting GTA6 costs as high as $2 billion. It could very well be an exaggeration and the real budget might be closer to $1 billion or slightly less. But it's not really that insane if you compare it to the most expensive games currently: Genshin Impact reportedly cost $900 million (including development, maintenance and marketing) while Monopoly Go reportedly cost $1 billion (just for marketing, bankrolled by Saudi Arabia). It's plausible for GTA6 to have a higher budget than Genshin Impact or Monopoly Go!
You asked for a game where you shoot someone in the face; those are usually kids games like Call of Duty or Fortnite.
You might wanna think what you just said there and check out their age ratings.
You think kids pay attention to age ratings?
That's not the argument here, sure kids play CoD, but it's not a kids game, Splatoon is.
Bruh they're all video games! it's not that deep.
Some people would tell you video games in general are for kids. So your argument already has holes in it.
Look at competitive Splatoon, you won't see a single child.
One person stating "my game is for adults yours is for children" doesn't make that person more mature. Just makes them a gatekeeping douche.
Accurate to say it's like a portable PS4 in handheld and docked it's like a stronger Series S?
At the moment: It's a bit up in the Air. I'd me more inclined to put it at Ps4 in docked, a bit lower than a one S in portable in terms of raw raster performance.
But it has a lot more ram which helps with textures (The big advantage SF6 has in this comparison).
RT is unknown: We haven't seen it used yet. I don't think even CP2077 has it. Rumoured specs would suggest that RT performance will be around Steam Deck levels but will fall short of the Series S.
DLSS has also not been shown. Potentially the Switch 2 may be able to render at a lower res and still output a cleaner image than a PS4 or XSS...but it's a bit theoretical at the moment.
The rumoured CPU (8 core A78C @1Ghz) would put it ahead of the PS4 but short of the Series S. Demos would suggest that that's the case (CP2077 was reported to be mostly a stable 30 but with some dips). But nothing confirmed
But yeah: Hard to really nail it down at the moment. We will really need to see released software running on released hardware and let the usual channels do a more in depth analysis to get a better picture.

It seems to be less powerful than a Series S docked, from the video I posted on the previous page.
I think it's more powerful than a PS4 but less than a PS4 Pro, and with some graphical features that PS4 didn't have, and more RAM.
@FireEmblem_Man: Sorry - anyone who supports Nintendo in the egregious rip off of a pricing model is a chump, IMO.
Nintendo deserves to fall on it's face over this.
Better than not having exclusives to other consoles

You do realize the parity is much slimmer now than before, right? We already peaked with graphics

$80 for a game, with variable pricing exceeding $100 if Nintendo deems it to have "replayability"?
Again... CHUMP.
Ironically, the Series S being so weak it's held back game development for new games on the series X is something that gamers and developers have talked about for years. That, with the fact that they are still using a cartridge just tells us it's going to be the same issue Nintendo has with all of their consoles.3rd part: games are going to either skip the switch 2 or you're going to get the worst running version of it. You're just paying more for it now.

You only BS yourself, for having to sell your kidney for that RTX 5090
It damn well better consider it cost more also the Xbox series s is weaker than the Xbox 1x and can’t really do 4k so I am not surprised
No that's just the quality of the port of the Series S being bad... For the most part games aren't developed for the Series S they are just lowered resolution versions and settings of the Series X.
The Switch 2 is a PS4.
As for your whole 4K jibberish.... Yeah 720p in Hogwarts.
Its CPU is 2x the power of the ORIGINAL Swtich which is 3x slower than a Series S/X/PS5 and its memory bandwidth is 2x slower than the Series S and the GPU is 30-40% more capable than a 1500 cuda cores in the Switch 2.
This is basically a RTX 3050 mobile GPU with 12GB VRAM with a a hard lock 35w while docked and 10w portable... It is not powerful in the slightest.
Nintendo games while artistically look great run at 1080p+ simply because they look like PS3/4 games.
Anything remotely modern like Cyberpunk, Elden Ring or Hogwarts... Its running at PS4 levels and a lot worse than Series S.
1080p low or 720/900p low/medium is basically what you will expect if high end games get ported to this console with graphics ranging from PS4 to almost Series S.
