I didn't say they weren't, it's just that buffing up the list with those types of games makes your list look a lot bigger than it should.

What Quality Games are you looking for? If they didn't make Wii Sports or Resort then

1. Wii's would have sold horribly since Wii Sports was it's Killer App

and

2. People would have complained on the Motion Controls even more if Resort didn't come out.

3. Wii Fit is actually helping people and gave Nintendo the Heart Association's Seal of Approval.

New IP is not the way to go, if you have established a well-known franchise. You either

a) Integrate a new cool idea into a well-known franchise or

b) create a new IP when this new idea does not fit within the genres of their knows games, instead you get stuff like Pikmin if they think it's gonna sell fairly well

because, it's not about the character, story, setting, it's all about the gameplay.

Outside of Mario, What has Nintendo done on the Wii? Zelda TP was a Gamecube Title and not even a great Zelda. Tp was a good Zelda but it heavily borrowed from OoT and no where near as good as that game.

What about People like me who Hate 3D- Platformers? Yes I disliked Mario Galaxy. The Wii has lil to offer and 3rd Party support on the platform is a joke.

Why has NIntendo had such a lack of focus on Quality games. Ok you have Mario galaxy 2 but what else has released on the Wii the last few years that was impressive? Not a Single 3rd party game has had AAA quality and NSMB was an expasion of the DS title.

Ummm...wow. Talk about uninformed. Nintendo is easily the most successful developer this gen. They've been profiting since day one, and they really don't care what some dude on a gaming site says when they're counting the retarded amount of cash coming in. All you're doing is stating opinion "I don't like 3d platformers! Rawr!" Good for you? Do you want a cookie, or? Millions are loving them. You are not a delicate snowflake bud, your opinion means squat in the big picture.

Sure, Ninty's online may not be as good as PS3's or 360's, they may not boast as many higher-rated titles, but in their case, who needs all that? Their demographic is casuals, and they outnumber hardcore's 5-1. They're selling systems by the boat-load, and even though their sales have slowed down, it's still consistent. It's not as if sales have stopped dead. That's just the Wii I'm talking about, the DS and its different versions are still selling ridiculously good, and is the best-selling videogame platform of all time, and it only widens the gap every day.

Please research stuff before you make a hater thread. I love my PS3 and PSP, as well as respect the 360, but Nintendo has been winning this gen since the beginning. With the unveiling of the 3DS at this years 3DS, their stock is only gonna go up.

second. "not even a great zelda" but it still beat out all the games the year it came out, gears, oblivion ect. ;) and even if your claim wastrue,a bad zelda by the series standard is still 99% better then all games out there. but it isnt true, considering its the second best zelda ever created acording to GR.

third. first you say its not agreat zelda,then you say it was a good zelda, makes no sense if you ask me-

Nintendo has not interested me at all this gen, I have like one game for the wii. This is most likely because the online is terrible and I prefer online games and talking with my friends which, is not possible with the wii.
